So, if sociey has a goal, then adding the extra punishments could make sense, but then the law itself is discriminatory by favoring one race over another.

I don't think I gave a great example earlier, I wanted to use premeditated murder since it's clear, but it's also a high crime which may confuse my argument. So here's that example anyway.

Premeditated murder.

Case one, victim is a straight white bartender.

The perp hates bartenders and kills the bartender.

Case two, victim is a homosexual bartender.

The perp hates homosexuals and kills the bartender.

Both premeditated, both targeting by class, yet one has greater penalties.

Furthermore, if the straight bartender's family claims that said bartender was gender fluid, then that elavates it to hate crime status.

Even though the true intent was to murder a bartender.

So we have two issues,

First: how do you avoid extra charges being added to any given crime on a whim by the prosecuter? Except in extreem circumstances, intent cannot be proven beyond a reasonable doubt.

Second, how is it just if one or more classes of people get a different level of justice than groups of one or more other classes?

I’ve never tested gold. I’ve heard they have a machine to test, not sure what other ways there are and how easy and quickly it is for someone to verify it’s real.

Another problem with gold is when you need to transact, it’s tough to break it off to an exact amount. Also, the other party would have to assume it is in fact gold (unless they walk around with some sort of way to test it).

I think gold is a safe option. Hard to argue with ~5,000 years of history.

If you had to put all of your net worth into one of these assets for the next 100 years, and no one can change the allocation.

What would you choose?

Hate crime laws that do nothing more than add extra penalties to offenders are inherently evil.

If I Assault a man for stepping on my lawn, that's assault and I pay my dues.

if I assault a man because he is this or that race, that's assalt with extra dues.

Why should the exact same crime be punished differently? Assault is assault.

The only thing this law enables is extra punishments on the whim of the state.

Thus evil.

At this time in my life I would really like to have a second monetary income (and lose another 10kg but for that I know what to do).

Monthly I buy a few 100-150k sats, more than that I can't do, having a full-time job I lack material time to sell my photo shoots. My salary is not very high, but I have very few thoughts caused by work which is a healthy environment.

The only alternative is to find something that with 1-2 hours a day I can earn something. There are hundreds of gurus on IG or 3ads promising huge gains but I don't even consider them.

With all the debate on here on Zaps Only vs Likes, curious on the largest #zap you have received? Also when was it?

Many have said with the price of BTC going up, Zaps quantity and size will go down. I believe that to be true if you live with a fiat mind. 1 Bitcoin will still equal 1 Bitcoin. Same goes with sats.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m no BTC OG holding a fat bag, but I’ll be zapping no matter the Fiat exchange rate because I believe in a Value4Value model. That only works if everyone is zapping.
