Don't like inconvenient facts?

I don't have any tattoos, don't plan to ever get any tattoos and I' not a fan of them on anyone. That being said, people that do like tattoos need to be smart. If you tattoo your whole body, especially places like your neck and face, you limit your opportunities. I had a sales manager who had a bunch of tattoos but he made sure all of them could be covered by a short sleeve dress shirt and long pants. He could look clean cut when he wanted and show off his tattoos when he wanted. That is smart.

The only tattoo I ever saw that I thought was kind of cool, was an employee who tattooed a wedding band on his hand. That is commitment. I still wouldn't do it myself.

I am mostly using Satellite (switched recently due to issues with Iris) on my desktop to view NOSTR. The only issue I am having is my feed is full of posts by arturito. I am not following him/her, but half the posts in my "following" feed are from this person. Anyone know how to remove this person from my feed?

I never took the flu vaccine, but I started taking Vitamin D3 w/ K2, Zinc w/ copper & quercetin (zinc ionophore), NAC, and increased my vitamin C intake. I never get sick. Every once in a while I will start to get a tickle in my throat, but my body is able to fight it off and prevent getting sick. I started my regimen to prevent Covid-19. I will continue taking it forever because I am so much healthier.

Vivek seemed like better than the other Republican candidates, but then I found out he was pushing and trying to sell a software system for the government to track our vaccine status and health status in general. Nobody that actually cared about freedom would push that nonsense, not even to make billions.

I haven't been able to get notifications in IRIS for more than a week. At one point it showed me something like 3 notifications that were almost a week old and then nothing more.

I've been trying out Coracle and Satellite also. I can't even find a place to look at notifications on Coracle. Satellite shows me some notifications (conversations), but not likes.

I do most of my NOSTR on the desktop. I hate typing on a phone. I had preferred Iris, but am liking Satellite more and more. It does the best job I've seen at letting you look at a whole conversation.

I'm a prime member, but where I live delivery almost always takes a week (or even more) to get anything. I like living far away from major cities, but when it comes to receiving packages, it is definitely an inconvenience.

I don't see how they can lose in court, but I guess you never know. It stinks that even when you will obviously win, the other side can delay the fix and cost you time and money. They really are hateful.

I agree with everyone here that sometimes management, especially in big corporations, is tone deaf to the needs of employees and do many things poorly. They spend money on things that don't make the employees happy and avoid things that do.

On the opposing side, many employees think they should be paid more because they overspend and can't make ends meet instead of because they do a good job and bring value to the company. Companies cannot pay employees more than the value brought to the company by each employee. The cost of employees is more than just the salary. It includes salary, benefits, taxes, training, & equipment needed to make the employee productive. Many employees think they are underpaid when they are actually overpaid based on the value they bring. The best way to get management to recognize your value and either pay you accordingly or give you life/work flexibility is to do such a good job that they can't live without you. Working harder, working smarter, always finding something useful to do and never sitting around doing nothing productive will get you a long way. Finding ways to cut costs or be more efficient and bringing that to the attention of management is also helpful. If you do these things, then you can approach management and point out the value you bring and why you are actually worth what you want to be paid instead of asking for a raise because you want it.

Sorry if I sound pro-business and not pro-employee. I have just seen the other side. There are businesses who undervalue their employees and don't pay them enough or don't treat them with respect. There are also employees that always want more without putting in the effort to be valuable. Both parties are wrong.

I am a small business owner. We have made every position, that we can, into a part or entirely commission/bonus structure so our employees "give themselves raises" by bringing value to the business. We always have employees that make more than either my husband or I and frequently have at least one employee who makes more than us combined. They work for it, though. If they are making good money, it is because they have brought value to the business and raised the value of the business. In that case we are thrilled to pay them their large pay.

It is sad that we need to do this, but instead of having men's and women's sports, they can just change to XX and XY sports. To participate in XX sports you must have 2 X chromosomes. To participate in XY sports you must have at least 1 X and 1 Y chromosome. Problem solved. There will be no misinterpretation. There will be no arguing what a woman or man really is. There will be no gender confusion. It will be based on objective fact instead of feelings and opinions.

I just read a theory (it sounds reasonable, but I have no proof) that the reason we have so many old and incompetent people in D.C. is because the Epstein/Ghislane factory for blackmailed and controlled politicians was destroyed. Those that control the politicians are having a harder time getting the goods on potential and existing politicians, so they aren't able to bring in more of their own. Because of that, they are continuing to support those that are so far gone they should be in a nursing home.

Bitcoin itself needs to stay the same so it remains stable money.

If they want the bells and whistles, layer those extra features on top of Bitcoin (like they did with lighning), so they don't break the money.

The Marxists are doing a pretty good job of convincing the majority to abolish and hate these things.

One night of melatonin might help a tiny bit, but if I take it multiple nights in a row, it makes my sleep worse. I avoid all melatonin products.

I lie on my back and when I am about to drift off roll to my side and usually fall immediately to sleep. I won't actually fall asleep on my back though.

When I drank normal coffee regularly, if I missed my coffee I got horrible headaches, so I started weaning off by switching to half caff. Now I drink coffee, but drink decaffeinated.

School makes a lot of productive things unpleasant. They make writing unpleasant by making you write a specific number of words/pages on a subject you usually couldn't care less about. They make history unpleasant by making it only about memorizing names and dates instead of about stories and how stories in the past relate to what is happening today. They make almost everything less fund than it should be and discourage learning on your own or thinking for yourself.

Homeschooling can solve all of these problems.
