Good Morning,

One of the arguments against Christianity is the random speaking in tongues. Like every other argument against Christianity it is an unfounded argument because it is not Christianity. It is a dog and pony show.

On the other hand we will do miraculous things through Christ but we will do them when it is his will and we will speak in different languages by his grace so that others may understand. But this never will be a carnival act. It will be a triumphant tribute. It will happen when the Holy Ghost enters us and we became a vehicle for the glory of Jesus Christ.

We also, by blessing, will find that those who wish to harm us by food ( poison ), medicine (sorcery) and charming ( pop music ) will fail. This is why prayer before any endeavor is a means to success. The practice of asking for blessing before all meals is essential. Ask for His blessing all day long.

I've seen it happen where I would be carried away by enchanted gossip, triggered politics or seductive drink in the past. It doesn't mean anything to me now. I just see things as pathetic pursuit. Like Trivial Pursuit but pathetic.
