It'll be be a fast ride to 100 after we get through 75
I wonder if this makes any keys viewed by the system insecure. I'm guessing that the keys viewed could easily be added to a list that can get checked. It'd be a huge list and hard to check, but still more efficient than blind guessing.
There's a possibility that someone was dumb and is actually using a seed with a simple repeating spurred or phrase, like "bacon" repeated 12 times results in a valid seed with checksum. I've actually thought of looking for one...
One weakness I've always thought about for the lightning network is the single point of failure vulnerability. If a node goes down, it needs to be restored before the channels can become active once more, whereas with L1 bitcoin just goes on and doesn't care. It just popped in my head that the channel data doesn't need to be in one location, and the signing can happen by any signer with the half-key.
Could Nostr host obfuscated and/or simplified LN channel data?
*needs to be restored before the channels
My umbrel+pi got corrupted by helping me find out my power isn't stable. Now, I have a pi battery and a single zombie channel I've been putting off closing (I know I have the channel data somewhere...)
Eventually, I'll try again
The trick, I think, will be to simplify life. Have gardens; live in tighter, smaller communities; less driving and more walking; do things in-person; etc. AI can't replace real, human connection.
We're still on the second frame. 9 years, and we'll suddenly be in the fourth frame.
Dang Google Mail... I'm just trying to format an email from a client's website, and Google thinks it's fine to just completely change the email HTML structure and remove about 50% of all my style attributes 😤
Irony of ironies: the very people who believe they are concerned most about health are the very people most susceptible to the lies the would-be health experts put forth, and because of this they take the poison, drink the kool-aid of you will, and die suddenly, making their lives a sacrifice for the ruling class.
Such a cool sound to that song
This explains so much! Excellent interview.
The tyrannical state only exists as a parasitic growth atop a living community, but it undermines its own sustenance by smothering its subjects who support it, and the antidote to the tyranny is to invest in that very community to the exclusion of the parasite.
The problems are global, and the solution is local. Zoom in, not out.

Because of the decentralized, peer-to-peer aspect of bitcoin and nostr, they are nearly ideal tools for this job.

So good!

Pretty soon, that'll be the pace of Bitcoin's market cap growth. That might actually happen this cycle.
This is 100% my opinion also. Our food is tainted. I choose to outsource the processing of toxins to animals. I eat a nearly all meat diet. They have their own kidneys and livers that only need to last about 2-4 years. Mine need to last 80 years. It's just math.
