Wait, who gave you permission to do that?

Most people don’t realize that Google have very similar rules to Apple; they just lack the ability to enforce them very well and don’t seem to care too much about changing it, at least for now.

It’s a weak distinction, but tipping on a profile vs tipping on a piece of content would appear to be the one that someone at Apple is attempting to make.

It wouldn’t be an issue if Damus wasn’t a popular app. Now that it is they want their cut.

It’s not all that uncommon unfortunately.

Worth fighting tho - 99.999% of zaps are definitely not tips for digital content.

One would have expected such a progressive company to be using a better projection in maps. 🙃

Very few people understand that the general view of the SEC is that Bitcoin is a commodity, not a security. That may change though with the news around the Coinbase and Binance cases. Maybe an orange pill for a few more million…

There are so many more sessions at WWDC for spatial applications than I expected. Developers have a ton of lead time and are now equipped to build great experiences.

This plus the positive hands-on reviews makes me extremely bullish.

PGP is probably a cautionary tale with respect to the expectation that any particular technology becomes accessible/easy to use in time.

Maybe things are different now though but you gotta get product designers involved. Engineers will mess it up if they control everything. (I say this as an engineer).

Rest is a 9.5. I quibble I quibble.

First 45 minutes of Wall-E are cinematic perfection.

Absolutely everything I expected and not a thing more.

Not a criticism..it’s the most high-tech device I’ve ever seen and I think they have probably nailed the basic immersive UX. Gigantic screens in the sky that know where I am looking is good enough!

I’d be shocked if they ditched the Siri brand but totally expect them to gut the thing.

They delayed it, basically.

Siri played a very diminished role in today’s announcement. Bet they’re working feverishly on an LLM. nostr:note1mwk3qc2canagj90fy00qtrjt8h0u07esfcuk8cpzcwkx3qq7jpts27aeh7

I’m not sure that iOS should even be allowing anything to run that much in the background (outside of background playing and location services).

Could be a bug with silent push notifications.
