Two things on Nostr I don’t find anywhere else:

1) actionable info just in general, all social media and news is just designed for engagement, usually rage bait. It’s rarely helpful.

2) particularly the actionable health and wellness people have found improved their lives. Sun in the eyes has been a big mood unlock for me and if I must be inside I bought lots warm LED lights and threw out all fluorescents. Don’t live in a dungeon anymore.

I’ve found just sitting by a big window in my office job helps my mood throughout the day. My old office spot was in the middle of the building with no natural light, it was only harsh blue fluorescent lights. Natural light is the way!

High level lesson: even small changes in habits can have a large impact over time.

At the end of the day it’s all cultural. On paper Russia has a stronger bill of rights than the USA but in practice they have essentially no rights. What’s written on paper is only a small part of the equation. For free speech to ensure a society had to continually uphold it as a key value.

There legitimately are some amazing Bitcoin devs who primarily use X/Twitter and I miss their knowledge and education.

Covenants will actually increase decentralization. Today as Ben said we are actually trending the wrong way towards centralizing. Covenants make self custody strictly better enabling more and better self custody options(both base chain and on L2s). Most current popular scaling solutions like Cashu and Fedimints are custodial and it scares me everyone seems fine with ever more Bitcoin leaving self custody for custodial options. I think it’s important we reverse this trend. I see no other realistic option except covenants.
