Know yourself. Be yourself. Tell the truth. Don’t hurt people and don’t take their stuff.
I don’t watch the news and haven’t been active on Sinstagram since 2019 so it took me a bit to notice what this Threads thing was about. First thing that came to my mind when I read that term is the classic sci-fi fantasy novels of Anne McCaffrey’s “Dragonriders of Pern” series. The arch nemesis of the people of the planet of Pern are the “Threads.” These are mindless incendiary zoomorphs from another planet that consume, burn and colonize everything they touch, destroying what was there. Fitting name they chose, I think. #ironystr #grownostr
Yep. And using the “free speech” thing as a way for these psychos to be able to put this evil out there is a cop out of the worst kind. Free Speech is naturally between consenting individuals and the victims surely are not consenting and cannot. Especially minors.
Ye gads. Ain’t that the truth.
I’m guessing you’ve heard about the “Sound of Freedom” movie coming out about rescuing trafficked kids to pedos- the majority of whom are in the US?
I just watched the Jordan Peterson interview with the sound of freedom guy and the actor in the movie. That’s some dark stuff. But, since Peterson’s got a lot of clinical experience, it was informative to hear what he had to say about the pathology of such monsters who would do such things.
It sure put the whole leftist/mainstream media grooming trend in a new worse appalling perception for me anyway.
Well when you got a thumper….. use it!
I did a few batches of lacto fermented tomatoes and one ended up with a noticeably alcoholic twist. That got me to wanting to make tomato moonshine out of the next bunch I pick.
Possibly old timey cloth diaper pins or horse blanket pins. I used to use similar pins to fasten track bandages/ leg wraps on a horse’s legs if they had to stand in a stall for a long time after a hard workout.
I recently saw a bedpan like this turned into a pretty good guitar. Clever!
I interpreted the article as “ we’re exploring ideas on how to use this to further our agenda and consolidate more power in a way that makes the public beg for it.”
Yay thanks! I used 12ft.io until sites started to block it.
And if you live in a region where Pindo palm (aka wine palm, jelly palm) grows, which is a big part of the US, you can render a nice aromatic oil from the fruit kernel. It’s a lot of work though. But, stuff you have to work hard for is stuff you’re not likely to waste or overuse. Pindo oil smells like a combination of coconut and butter.
I didn’t see the Rogan podcast but it reminds me that just because someone’s on Rogan it doesn’t make them omniscient and even Joe admits to being taken in occasionally. For example, people did put a lot of stock in the interview with Cmdr. Fraver about UFOs. I do remember years ago seeing Fraver on the PBS documentary “Carrier.” It seemed that even back then the guy was a definite attention hog. Does it prove what he says he saw? I don’t know but it does make me question his motives.
Their collective amnesia/intellectual incontinence is such that this topic comes up ever other year or so - each time they’re as giddy about it as if it was brand new.
Along the same point, I think that’s why Gobekli Tepe was buried so deliberately, to protect it from a cataclysm the people might have recently survived, kinda like the major earthquakes near those sites recently.
Bill Gates has been releasing GMO mosquitoes in Florida and Texas and now Florida and Texas for the first time in 20 years have mosquitoes that give people malaria. But I am sure there is absolutely zero connection. Oh also while the Gates is funding a vaccine for malaria, HCQ completely shuts down malaria for about 50 cents a dose.

It’s odd they phrase it as “spread” in the reports. I know I’ve seen reports about malaria (and Zika, dengue, chikungunya, west nile, encephalitis, etc) here in Fl nearly every year, not just since 2003. But, in the recent years it’s emphatically framed as being from people who came here with it- which I’m skeptical of every time I see that. Aedes aegypti is all over the entire state and hardly anyone who sets foot here for more than 5 minutes can avoid being bitten. and Bill Gates is deluded if he thinks he can even put a dent in the population. It would be easier if he eradicated the human populations of FLorida and Texas first - well oops, that’s probably closer to the real agenda…

That reasonably fit looking dude in the shades in the middle doesn’t look very happy at all to stand in the middle of them
I stopped watching tv completely in 2014. When I do catch a glimpse when I’m out and about, all it does is annoy me. Another benefit of not watching is seeing how hokey even “good” shows are. Hardly any of it is like real life.
