I dunno, I think the “protocol” vs “social internet” distinction is still a bit over people’s heads if all they really know about the internet is Facebook and Instagram.
Maybe the best way to describe it is as a new social network (already technically incorrect) that people are excited about because it works differently from any other social network in a way that puts more control over what you see in your own hands, and lets any application developer make new apps that can show different kinds of content on the network in cool new ways.

There is no “correct” amount because it rises and falls with solar cycles, geological cycles, etc.
But it’s clear that the concentration post-industrialization is far above (like 2x) that of pre industrial levels.

I’m a classic lib, I believe climate change is real and that a big part of it is our fault, and that our children will have an increasingly tough time living normal lives because of the direction the climate is headed, and there’s nothing we can do to undo it. Which is why I get extra heated when I hear anybody arguing against nuclear energy. It’s safe, and it’s plentiful, and it’s critically necessary. The arguments against it just don’t make sense, even if you believe climate change is a hoax.
Particularly insightful to me was the discussion on what would happen to prices of consumer goods and transport if the energy industry didn’t suck up so much of our supply of fossil fuels. Neat perspective.

Is your Lightning node working? Check the umbrel Lightning app. When this happens to me I often find that the bitcoin node is out of sync which causes the Lightning node to stop working, which in turn causes LNBits to stop working.
