Purple-Pilled Pleb🦾

The #asknostr tag is unbelievably powerful.

Thank you so much to everyone who follows it and responds to us plebs' questions.

I try to answer as many that I can, and zap often

We should make a search engine-like experience in the browser for the tag, if not already done so.

- I'd like to organize the questions a bit better that people note

Again thanks y'all tremendously powerful πŸ’œ

Why not a more affordable simple android tablet (run graphene on it) or like you said a quality kindle?

I'm leaning towards an affordable android tablet for another graphene device

Been asking the same thing!

Would love to know as well.

I do not want to;

1) buy/have card

2) sell said card

3) convert sales $ to sats

Fuck thank you for posting I need to go do that

Does this work on both Mac & windows?

Mac user here

Also some Linux distros

I emailed her and spoke to her friend here on Nostr

He tried to get her but she was turned off immediately when he mentioned Bitcoin

I'll find his npub and share it here. You can look through my replies from the beginning of the year here too

Tried to get her on Nostr last week

Shell join eventually

Even better if we can transmit via mesh, then out through like MQTT or something

Think of hashing in remote places with no cell service

ASIC--->Reticulum--->clearnet--->pool

Anyone transmitting hashing via nostr relays to said pool yet?

#asknostr

I wanna run my ASIC's connected only to relays, which push that out to clearnet, then to the pool

Makes perfect sense

I remember why I added it there in the first place;

I was playing around with the idea of sharing the same local relay, on the same local network between two different devices

It did work, but always better off to just walk to the other room and actually speak to the person

Seems like the client can't hold a connection for very long to the relays

I deleted it already, didn't try this yet; have you tried to add more relays in Olas? Maybe that would fix the problem

Anyone else have this issue with Wallet of Satoshi?

I can clearly connect to the merchant section, meaning it has internet connection. Very odd.

#asknostr

I'd prob use python as I'm most comfortable with that now. I see you write a lot in Go

I'd love to write in rust, but not there yet. Still trying to write better in C, then transfer that over to my rust journey.

Any quality guides on making Nostr bots?

#asknostr

Yes you can selfhost via tor if desired

Prob best to put it on your own VPS

Yes with nsec.app

I agree, I believe it's a signer issue. But I also need to mention the first time I downloaded Olas, and it still does this, it added a bunch of npubs on my nsec. app; like it was caught in the loop. Olas added like ~10 npubs for some reason and idk why. It keeps doing that. See belowπŸ‘‡

I feel like the signer is conflicted, but idk why Olas every time I log in, it keeps adding random npubs to the signer
