We really do feel like we're the internet of the next 100+ years

Can't say for other clowntw, but for amethyst, add the bots name like 'reply guy' / 'reply girl' to your muted words list

Then they're gone forever

I personally see zero spam and its beautiful

Few other bugs I experienced with #Olas

I have screen records for you below; hope it helps for you to better understand said issuesπŸ‘‡

First video shows 1) & 2)

Second video shows 3)

1) can't post again for some reason

- 'Post' button keeps spinning

- get 'error can't upload media' notification at top

2) I accidentally bumped 'schedule' and found myself in a loop. Need to close app to get out

3) can't comment to another persons post. I tap the send icon but it doesn't send

Hope this detailed bug reporting helps! Takes awhile for me to screen record and write down what I see, to do it concisely, trying to save you as much time as possible.

Thanks for all your hard work G! No rush take your timeπŸ’œ

Android.

Was working OK but for some reason not the past few days. A hit and miss.

Just deleted #Olas

Phone went to sleep (twice) while trying to post for #Olas365

I'm not gonna pretend here and lie that I'm posting everyday on there, when I can't upload or even respond to a post

Maybe its just on my end, but Olas is deleted now. May reinstall when y'all say its better

✌

Running #GrapheneOS on a Pixel 9 Pro Fold as my daily driver for EVERYTHING.

When i'm outside i use it as a phone (6.3-inch outer screen), when i'm at home i unfold the 8.0-inch inner screen, connect my bluetooth mouse and keyboard and use it like a desktop. When unfolded, it looks like a mini-tablet with square screen.

I do all my websurfing, #nostr stuff, media consumption, gaming, ebooks, secondbrain, torrents, through my phone. I'm also running my own LN node and #Nostr relay, using nostr:nprofile1qqsrf5h4ya83jk8u6t9jgc76h6kalz3plp9vusjpm2ygqgalqhxgp9gpz4mhxue69uhk2er9dchxummnw3ezumrpdejqzyrhwden5te0dehhxarj9ekxzmnyqyt8wumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnwdaehgu3wvfskueq555fk2 and Citrine.

For internet, I use an eSIM with unlimited data plan, i never use WiFis. My phone has everything, and is always with me. All my apps are opensource, and the very few ones that aren't are kept in a seperate userprofile with very limited permissions.

GrapheneOS only operating system that i can trust. I rarely turn on my Linux laptop anymore, only when i need to do something that can't be done (yet) with Android.

Some of you might call me crazy, but I'm really happy with my current #minimalistic #cypherpunk setup.

That's the way G

Depends on where those sats are ie whose node. Not the wallet.

You can view this in the settings of said wallet

Welcome!

Hey nostr:nprofile1qqsvrlrhw86l5sv06wkyjgs6rrcekskvk7nx8k50qn9m7mqgeqxjpvgpy9mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujumr90p5kuem5dahxy6t5vdhkjm3wdaexwtcx2lun5, I'm trying to pay for my LNBits SaaS instance, and its giving me this error

- either 'malformed' or 'cannot connect' to the server.

It may be down, so I'll try in a few hours or so.

Tried two different wallets. DM'd you as well.

That's dope amazongt he made that for you πŸ”₯

Imo meshtastic is the gateway, newbie version of P2P comms; I'd say keep it running for awhile. Easy to setup, easy to "use"

- think buying Bitcoin on an exchange

Reticulum is the path forward; far too versatile. A bit harder to flash & setup, more CLI/rough UI/UX in apps, but once its setup wow is it powerful

- buying Bitcoin at a meetup, P2P no-kyc

Its auto converted to ecash, also called 'minting'

If you send your freshly minted ecash to another minibits user (like me) you will send ecash (specifically a cashu token), not lightning*.

If you choose to pay a lightning invoice, not a minibits mint, you will auto convert your ecash to lightning, also called 'melting'

A bit technical belowπŸ‘‡

*you can pay a minibits lightning invoice from your minibits ecash wallet (like zapping me, my minibits lightning@address), which you have already minted into ecash. If you did this, you would be melting ecash to the minibits lightning node, crediting my account.

- since its the same lightning node (from you to me), on the node it looks like the node just paid itself

This is why ecash is so powerful; minibits node just saw a 'self-pay', but it has no idea which user paid which other user, even if they wanted to know.

So so cool.

Absolutely delicious 😎

I'm choosing to select "generic" in Olas, which allows all other clients to show the notes, not just exclusively in Olas

I must preface that these projects above are not fully FOSS, & built ("owned", sponsored, subsidies) by Bitfinex, owners of Tether

I have a slight issue with this but the tech is still interesting
