It’s been a few years since I’ve seen it but what I do remember is that it wasn’t some kind of simplistic positive thinking exercise where you tell the kids they’re “the best sportsball player ever.” Rather, he taught these kids how to toggle their mind into a different state. As I recall, the trigger to enter the state was some sort of blinking sequence.
What’s really crazy is that this teacher wasn’t some kind of PhD psychologist or doctor. He’s just some random dude who bought a Teach Yourself Hypnosis seminar/manual from a magazine ad because he had an interest in the topic.
The documentary was made because his students started dying in unusual ways, and their parents tried to pin the deaths on the teacher, claiming that the kids had been under in a hypnotic state at the time of their demise.
You might enjoy the Amazon documentary “Look into my Eyes.” A small town teacher was able to get some of his school’s sportsball players to play through pain and exhaustion using some sort of hypnosis. I found it to be a really interesting exploration of the mind-body connection.
I can’t lie. That exact line of thought has crossed my mind a few times. I feel like there are too many retards that buy into wokeness for it to be a US conspiracy though.
What’s the secret? No liquids two hours before bed? Limited caffeine intake?
When she suggests to stack #Bitcoin instead of hosting a $30k wedding.
“She must be kept at all cost.” 🧡

The wise financial move isn’t to simply cancel the wedding but to cancel the marriage.
Not for all the money in the world. Why would anyone want to live like this?
Lifetime movies in general are overlooked gems:
Stalked by my Doctor
Mother’s Worst Nightmare
The Wrong Teacher
Double Daddy
This is so true. I’d add that not only should underachievers’ criticisms be ignored, but their compliments as well. Think of all the resentful fatties in the “body positivity” movement portraying morbid obesity as beauty. Deflecting the attacks of losers is never fun but it becomes easier over time, but deflecting their compliments can be deceptively difficult!
Why aren’t using an Ad Blocker? Can’t even fathom the idea of paying for YouTube.
I had hoped Bitcoin would play the “safe haven” role in these tumultuous times as opposed to gold. The idea of investing in a precious metal when Bitcoin exists strikes me as misguided. Clearly I must be missing something.
Going to college was a bit more worthwhile when I was young.
When I graduated from UCSD in 1994, tuition was only $2,400/yr. The education wasn’t worth much but the degree was. But these days college seems pointless. The woke political indoctrination, the protests, all of it. It’s mind boggling to me that people actually go into debt for that garbage.
Were I young, I’d get the college loan, put the proceeds in Bitcoin, then let inflation eat away at the loan until the government ultimately forgives it.
I still see people wearing masks alone in their cars in 2025. The retardation is strong here.
The pertinent question however, is: Do COVID booster shots make people retarded, or is it one’s innate retardedness that inspires them to get the shot in the first place?
Agreed. These days, before clicking follow, I always check to make sure they’re not posting continually.
That’s kind of what I thought about the TV show “Yellowstone” a few years back. Unfortunately, sometimes things stick around longer than they should. Opting out of fiat is so much harder than opting out of “Yellowstone” though.
One time I won third place in a group of four players at Top Golf, Las Vegas. Chips and guacamole were served. Our server’s name was Ruby.
Naw, with Android you have to use an app called Amethyst, I believe.
That was a great read. Thanks for posting.
For me personally, all I want is a small, spam-free space where I can read the thoughts of other Bitcoin fans and freedom tech users. I’m not really in it for the whole revolution bit.
For some of us, NOSTR is the first social app that we’ve found at all appealing.
Facebook was only tolerable via web with an ad blocker extension like Facebook Purity. Even then, weeding through the leftist political rants was tedious.
Instagram was fun for watching dog videos but 99% of the content in my feed was from influencers I wasn’t even following, not my direct contacts. Not to mention all of their political baggage, pandering to the various victim classes, the pronoun nonsense and forcing users to pretend that men are women and vice versa. It’s garbage.
Twitter I couldn’t even sign up for with all its CAPTCHAs, and when browsing as a non user, all the posts were out of order. It was just useless.
But with NOSTR I can chat with likeminded individuals in a censorship free environment. The fact that it’ll never be revolutionary doesn’t bother me. Not every product has to be a blockbuster success. The world needs niche products too and NOSTR is a great niche social protocol.
As AI progresses, those things will inevitably evolve into the sentinels depicted in “The Matrix.” It’s not that big of a leap from “open this can” to “seek and destroy.”
