Cool. I just started playing 9x9 this week to learn the basic tactics. But I dolnot know yet to play on bigger fields. I play on the App "Sente - online go" you might play a game?

Did anybody have a well funded banc account and they rejected paying a bill? At least in Switzerland they seem to do a ok job in storing my cash and paying my bills efficiently. Also they give me the security to not loose access to it.

I mean yea one can think what ever. I love that there is Bitcoin and one can in this manner hold a big amount of money and still hold it in selfcustody. But with it I hold the risk of loosing this money as well.

It is great to see the good points Bitcoin serves. But to me it seems very childish to not see the value commercial Banks bring to nontechnical people.

Because yes. It is not as if everyone can already store complex secrets in a secure way and still be sure to not loose them. And for those it is good there are commercial Banks.

Now you go away from you point without admitting, that Bitcoin is no privacy improvement. You could at least be fair and admit this instead of just switching topic, when you are lost. I am greatful for fair discussions.

This discussion just lost its sense.

I do not feel offended. But very nice from you to consider that it could be. Concepts like privacy are nothing personal to me.

And yes might better solutions can come up. But one still has to get around physically. And every physical object can be traced. My point is only, that getting full privacy is a huge amount of work, which no one achieves by the way. And Bitcoin is rather weakening privacy compared to current banking and cash then strengthening it. Physical cash will probably always be the most private payment asset one can use.

You as a person have always a physical location. This track of where you are is completely unique. When you buy anything in a physical shop, anyone with internet access knows you have been in this shop, when the transaction was made.

When you buy something online, you have to send them your adress or a pickup place and you have to get there physically.

It is crazy hard to achieve anonymity with Bitcoin. One single leakege and your wallet is burnt. And no one will tell you when it is burnt. With AI correlations with camera footage, transaction patterns and so on will not make it hard to identify you out of every citizen in the world.

I hope you know what happens with a russian person, that is publicly speaking about the war critically?

And what happens if you do the same in any european country.

This should quiet clearly show that there is libertarian countries and such that have only the state. When you just do not want to see this, it is your liberty to follow some trolls.

Whatever the meat should have to do with bitcoin, noone needs to understand.

Thanks for the mention. Was a great read this post. Here and there I totally feel the tendencies of this articles. It is may one of the darkest results of the populism that is active currently.

I know before Hitler got cancler also nobody thought it would come to a great erruption. And some weeks later everybody eighter fits in with the regime or is some kind of enemy.

Contributers could maby have some kind of risk investment. And when other contributors can demonstrate that an other contributor is lying, his risk investment is then distributed to honest contributors and relay hosts.

I think it is an important idea to creat a decentralized source of trust, as Jimstr seems to describe it. I do not have time to invest in it. But anyone who helps in this matter can be sure for my contribution.

I think not. I thought about it many times as well. But I rather pay a trusted service as proton or tresorit. You still pay for it, if one does not want them to market your private metadata. But for myself it is defnitly cheaper paying a service then hosting something myself. And most probably it is more secure. Since in a service there is more resources to make sure it is save, where on a selfhosted system it is easy to implement weaknesses.

Then why did they not go a democratic way to have more interactions with Russia beforehand? Former Ukrainian leader Poroshenko tried to do this on a political way. And got a lot of backlash from the society. Big demonstrations in Kiew to have a more liberal society and strengthen connections to the west and to more democracy.

I think yes or no is one part. The other is under which circumstances. If Russia wins all their goals, it is probably better we have no peace instead of giving them what they want.

For real?

What is wrong about Solana? Energy efficient cheap transactions. Huge number of Apps that are developed on this blockchain. Good criticism please. But really just if it is verifiable critisism. I do not want to read no opinions.

I use proton calendar. But only makes sense, when you already use a product of proton.

Maby yourope still has some sense of reality and knows what democracy means.

A question to Trump followers. What problem did Trump call out before his election and what were then his actions to get the job done?

Intresting. I find a lot of credible news. We live probably in one of the decades with the strongest journalism in human history. But one can always complain.

Good luck.

Rich UK citizens threaten to fully move away from the UK if the UK requires them to pay taxes. Experience shows that few actually follow through on such threats. I have an idea for how make it even less likely they will resist taxation: require them to renounce their UK citizenship in order to avoid being liable for UK taxes. Then make it a crime for a non-citizen to fund or support …

But isn't this then no even a real problem maby. People who care about soveirnety, will have their own wallet. Such who do not will not. Bitcoin will therefore has its users.

I mean Bitcoin is a nish produce, as gold is. When it would want to get out of this nish at i?any point in time, there is big change in the protocol needed.

A product needs to change to get more adaption.
