I imagine most varieties of corn would work, especially the more fibrous types, because they have less water content. I don't know anything about Japanese black corn specifically, but it around work.

To make the corn meal, you take it off the cob, dehydrate it in an oven or dehydrator, and run it through a food processor, blender, or grain mill. Put it through a small sifter to remove any hulls, then grind it again. You can do it a 3rd time for a finer powder.

As far as the cookies go, there's a bunch of recipes out there. Any corn meal works.

I'll put one up on Nostr eventually, but it's going to be a while. With a couple exceptions, I try to limit recipe piracy to when I actually make something, so I at least have original (but usually awful) pictures. 😅

Second year of pepper abundance. Among the peppers is malabar spinach. I think it is a good companion. Grows slower than peppers and protects from too much sun in August. Really heat tolerant. Edible too. May be a good source of collagen. Peppers act as a trellis for malabar spinach.

For life, I've stopped thinking in terms of objects and now think in terms of a one singular substance. Now, following along Heraclitus, Spinoza, Bergson, Whitehead and Deleuze, i think about just flux and processes interacting at differing speeds and intensities. One might call that panpsychism (consciousness everywhere at all scales), I think about it more as pansemiosis (meaning everywhere at all scales)

Rocks are alive in the same sense that organisms are alive, the difference is in temporal scale. Emergence doesn't happen through "axioms" or rules, it happens at the boundary between differing fluxes that must encounter another. The coastline "emerges" through land and sea slamming into together, just as mountains are formed from earth slamming into itself.

The tensions I feel from interacting with people and ideas I may not agree with. It is the forcing of myself to sit with the ideas, not trying to dominate or run away, that I become a better person.

the error probably isnt your blossom list, the 400 invalid content type was coming from blossom.build, and from satellite in your screenshots. it's something with the apps encoding the wrong (unmatched format) or something along these lines. it also isnt likely relay related. are you using a mobile device or desktop or both? just curious. might shed some light. i dont know much about how apps encode but i would guess amethyst has the most control over this and since you get the error there, it may just be some overlooked thing about blossom specs either on the clients or blossom servers.

The point of which people are free to flag their publications as 'journalism TM', and have to be able to proof due diligence:

You know the basic stuff of sources, verifying, whatever is the basic list that is in all the journalism textbooks.

With this in place, there should be a low barrier to sue these selfproclamed "journalist TM" for their publications;

The defending journalist does not need to proof their claims are correct, but show a judge he did his due diligence. Failing to do so will result in fines.

This way, you can just say whatever, and people can percieve it as whatever, if the publicist is not prepared to turn their articticle or whatever into testemony and put their balls on the line.

And when some "journalist TM" is talking absolute crap, you can make him pay for it and punish that behavior.

'Fake news' is fucking everywhere and its a combination of agenda driven bias, lies or lazyness. The lies and the lazyness should be faily easy to expose via a due diligence tests. And there will always be this non-formal domain where people can and probably will post all kinds of wild claims. That is not the point; the point is that instead of governments becomming tyranical speech policers, they could perhaps provide a noise filter as a service.

I'd say the biggest con of a greenhouse is expensive. I had one and tried to grow a mango tree but heating and cooling it year round was expensive. I don't like farming outside. It's old school
