Nostr eliminates all other social platforms and messengers through posting or DMs. Just need an easy way for non tech people to keep their keys segregated so that the dont dox the relay by using the keys in a public instance. You can whitelist writing at the moment by the looks of it but not reading.

Yeah its not easy to do. I used to try and rebalace all the time but gave up and just left it with dynamic fees. It works okish but my channels are far from balanced.

Depending on your node you could probably take a VPN subscription with TunnelSats.com . I use it to have both Tor and Clearnet running on my Raspiblitz.

Its hard to convince people, even those you are close too. Now I just plant seeds and mention relevant things in passing, when they are ready they will come speak to me and I will be ready to help them on their way.

You can try using Iris client which does some filtering. Or remove public relays & add paid relays like Wine + Wine Filter which broadcasts and pulls from public relays.
