The extended family Christmas gathering was this past weekend. We do a "white elephant" gift exchange. No idea how it got that name but essentially everyone brings one gift around a certain dollar amount and by playing some games we exchange gifts randomly.

I was the only person that actually made something (walnut bread bow knife). I try to encourage the family to be PRODUCERS and not CONSUMERS. The mindset shift can be challenging when the consumer option is so much easier.

Between my wife and I, we rarely drink and only keep a few bottles of wine in the house. We ended up with gifts of beer and vodka. 🀣 (2 of 3 alcohol related gifts in the exchange)

The vodka has already been designated to make medicinal tinctures.

I respect it, but that's not my brand. I like keeping the feed clean so when my kids gets older he doesn't have to sift through the clutter to find the signal.

Wake up routine.

Check if the everything bubble popped

Check if the sun micronova'd

Check block space demand

Check for hyper-adoption

If nominal, proceed with spreading orange virus protocol.

I'm bothered that the gun control discussion distracts from the real issue.

The second amendment is meant for the citizenry to be able to bear arms in the event of a tyrannical government. Here we are bickering about magazine size and other inconsequential aspects of guns (I agree on the suppressor topic of course), but meanwhile our government has tanks, space lasers, acoustic weapons, guided missiles, submarines, etc.

Why aren't we fighting for those technologies to be accessible to our citizenry so tyranny can be fought on an equal playing field?

I want a space laser dammit!

Soils are actually easier to repair and rebuild than houses, and less expensive, even when using organic methods. But don't tell the 'experts.'

Organic farms actually use a product called sea90 to fertilize their fields. It's literally salt dried from ocean water.

Well, it's been a very unproductive week. Got a little too close to welding fumes last week. But suffice it to say, my vision is better now πŸ˜‰

I have no interest in seeing southern Ontario join the US. I would prefer fewer central governments, but not fewer, stronger, bigger central governments.

Earth needs "open range" territories that are ungoverned where people can choose for themselves whether or not they want to live under governance systems.

Nostr only is the way.

Nostr only is the future.

Nostr only should be the present.

Yet so many bitcoiners still worship at the feet of Apple, Coinkite and others.

I'm just gonna say it...If it ain't FOSS, it's fucked. 🀷

#FOSS2025 should be your # 1 #NewYearsResolution if you set goals like that.

I haven't missed telegram since leaving last year. You won't either. The people that matter will find you wherever you avail yourself.
