Open minded Bitcoiner and blogger with a focus on UX, privacy and security. https://eluc.ch

It's more or less the same in Switzerland, max speed on highway is 120 but in cruise control at 128km/h we never trig any speed cam, 129-130 is hit or miss and you might end up with 40-60 CHF fine.

I got only once a speed fine, I set and forgot my speed at 127km/h and it was at night, nobody on the highway, I entered a tunnel and forgot to step down to 108 (all tunnels are max 100), got flashed for +17 or something, don't remember the fine, probably 120CHF or something.

It's sad but not that bad, if El Salvador works hard to make using Bitcoin easy and attractive, and the population still want to use it, merchants will still use it. I can guess that the adoption was far from 100% anway.

Still better than MobileCoin but they didn't plan to implement it to send Monera between users, right?

Is there bot on Signal, that we could use to do a kind of lntip bot?

Thanks for crashing my nostr:nprofile1qqs24yz8xftq8kkdf7q5yzf4v7tn2ek78v0zp2y427mj3sa7f34ggjcpzamhxue69uhhv6t5daezumn0wd68yvfwvdhk6tcppemhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mp0qyg8wumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytnddakj703s8dt with this post, I had to fast scroll to the end to comment, because as soon as 2 or 3 of the video play, it crash and I could not see posts past yours 😆😱

Also in Switzerland, I cannot help to order there but if you are looking for steel plate for BIP-39 passphrase backup there are plainty of options available here. Look at dezentralshop.ch for example but there are many other options.

You mean accept it for donation or planning to integrate it in the app?

I was refering to the latter, even if not directly in line with your comment, of Signal integrate bitcoin lightning or ecash, then for sure they would accept it for donation.

The entier UX was alreay engineered to integrate the dismissed MobileCoin shitcoin, so it would not be a huge effort to adapt the backend to another payment system, especially if it's done already in several nostr client, they don't need to reinvent the wheel.

But I don't see it coming soon, that's why I was hoping that Molly could do it somehow.

Lot of works, lot of time, lot of frustration, but when it works, it's a huge satisfaction.

They just gave up after one month only. It's not even time to get known by a fraction of the potential customers and even the ones who knows it, might not even have a need for a product listed on their website. It's a bit strange and sad.

We eere used to have digitec accepting bitcoin, now they stopped. But even there with their huge choice, I'm not even buying stuff every month.

Maybe another will step in or one of the big shop like digitec will accept bitcoin again.

Agree, anyway $ is used for many currencies, CAD, AUD, MXN, many pesos variation... so we could take it over as well as long as it's clear we talk about SAT in the context. More important is to have BTC (already the case?) and SAT as official ISO code.

I'm still running my node build from scratch, so far I could fix almost everything but BTCPay and LNbits as still not connect to it.

I think there is a way to play it on linux but you need the Steam version, I have the Gog one. I also keep a partition with Windows only for the games that are not running on Linux.

I wanted to reinstall as AtlasOS (Windows mod for gaming with minimal tracking) but never took the time. I just keep Windows 10, disable as much shit as possible and running almost anything but games.

Agree on the top, bear minimum 150k, low chance go above 250k. But the bottom, I'm not sure to read the log scale correctly, I would say more like 70-90 but hard to tell, maybe it will never goes below 100k after the top, maybe the previous top around 69k will be a strong resistance point.

First we should define the purpose of the gallery, this was never clear for me.

Is it for people looking at your profile to see your picture upload (I guess Instagram-like but I didn't use this shit for years so I don't know how it is now)?

nostr:nprofile1qqs24yz8xftq8kkdf7q5yzf4v7tn2ek78v0zp2y427mj3sa7f34ggjcpzamhxue69uhhv6t5daezumn0wd68yvfwvdhk6tcppemhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mp0qyg8wumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytnddakj703s8dt is doing it as it's a bookmark of pictures saved but visible by anyone. I'm not sure what is the use case beside collecting meme for other to see.

Through the roof? I remember when it sustained at 3 digits for so long that people were sreaming to consolidate as soon as it hit below 100 sats/vB.

No, car shopping is the absolute worst.

We I bought my last bed 4 years ago I had to fight to not get a fucking box spring, it was the only thing shops wanted to sell. Now rhey figured out that nobody want it, thanks god.

If I had way too much money I would have a huge underground complex, with video game arcade, retro gaming area (with CRT TVs), pinballs, PC LAN area, home theater, PC lab desk, electronic and DIY workshop, servers room, kitchen, food storage, bathroom, bedrooms, survival material storage, self sufficient power generation, communication equipment with several alternative and backups (FTTH, 5G, copper wire, mesh radio), surveillance system to check the decoy/day house while undergound and more stuff probably that I cannot think of right now.

All of this hidden below a slightly above average size house, it will be the day house but more like a decoy house as I will spend most time underground.

nostr:npub126ntw5mnermmj0znhjhgdk8lh2af72sm8qfzq48umdlnhaj9kuns3le9ll DIY on an old ThinkPad have been rock solid for me.

I almost did use Start9 on a new node but their apps in the app store are way too old for me, I like to test the latest stuff, like BTCPay 2.0.3 with boltcards and the latest extensions on LNbits.

My Umbrel is getting more or more often offline, LND and BTCPay are crashing or freezing randomly, sometimes it comes back, sometimes I have to manually restart them and LND takes a long time, 30min to more than 1h to be back online.

Anyone having similar issues? I run it on Raspi4 8GB for about 2 years. Should I do some cleanup in LND or electrum db?

I already uninstall everything not really needed, including Mempool 😥, what else can I do?

It's quite the opposite, without big industries to bring up the volume, the cost per kWh will go up as you have to spread the same fixed cost among fewer customers.

Sat to cent parity is at 1'000'000, but maybe in your local fiat buck you are close to it.

Add them with the button in the post above. Long click on the like button (heart) below a post, there will be at the bottom, add the one you like to your emotes list. Next time you like there will be in the list.

The rest of the #BTClock repositories that were on GitHub

https://git.rof.tools/mirrors/btclock-hardware

https://git.rof.tools/mirrors/btclock-web-flasher

https://git.rof.tools/mirrors/btclock-ota-flasher

Clone it, distribute it, fork it, modify it, verify it and/or improve it.

You could even modify it to run on similar hardware that is End-of-Life.

This is the power of #FOSS/H, LFG!

Similar hardware that end of life 👀, am I understanding it right?

Anybody tried to use it on the blockclock yet?
