GM 🐸

GM dude. Have a good weekend

I knew I recognized the company name but had to look it up to make the BTC connection. Nothing against her, but unclear the value add a journalist to the board is, and statement I just skimmed didn't elaborate much

What? No

As in I did not notice

You're both right imo :)

I'd add that some types of owners (more of the bad sort) gravitate towards more aggressive breeds.

Yeah, I'm hopeful I don't encounter it in the wild. But as far as gross mixing of junk food ideas goes, this is one of the better ones I've seen lol

That it's the other way around. You hear they control us, but haven't considered other way around as much. Food for thought

Today we welcome a glowie named nostr:npub1gdu7w6l6w65qhrdeaf6eyywepwe7v7ezqtugsrxy7hl7ypjsvxksd76nakwho pretends the US is a puppet state of #Israel instead of the other way around. #grownostr

That would make more sense 🤔

You know, I knew about bitcoin in the very early days. Not pizza day early, but not long after. I didn't buy any for many years... I just watched the news and wished I had acted for a long time.

I often ask myself why I didn't act. My excuses are thus:

1. I had very little money. I started my 1st 'career' in 2010, and was probably 2 or 3 years into the job when I first heard of bitcoin. Bitcoin was pretty cheap still though, so it's not a perfect excuse.

2. I had zero friends with any knowledge on the. subject. It would have been very nice to have been shown the ropes. Unfortunately, my bitcoin journey has been a very lonely one. 🤷‍♂️ I think this is a more valid excuse; For better or worse, I'm a very socially motivated person.

3. It took a long time, watching cycles to feel comfortable with the ebb and flow of the market. Booms and crashes were little more than exciting headlines at first, but following the news without skin in the game helped me feel better about my eventual first purchase.

4. In 2016 I attempted to create my 1st bitcoin wallet. I remember that I was really confused by the passphrase I needed to store. It seems silly now, but I actually never finished setting up the wallet because thus stage seemed so foreign to me.

5. When I finally bought crypto for the first time it was 2017, and it wasn't bitcoin! Bitcoin started to get really expensive (it was $20k by 2018) and new cheaper coins like TRX and XRP had hit the market. The thinking at the time was: If bitcoin did it, these shitcoins might too! 🤣

6. I made good money buying/selling shitcoins for a while (small time money, but large percentage gains). Unfortunately, his reinforced my shitcoin habit and kept me from purchasing bitcoin. Crypto became synonymous with quick action and hodling was anathema to squeezing a quick buck out of this phenomena.

So... those are my excuses. Looking back on my life, Bitcoin represents the best chance I ever had to be truly wealthy. If I had acted on my gut when I first took interest in it, I would live in a mansion on a tropical island now. C'est la vi.

As has been said before, everyone gets bitcoin at the price they deserve. Carry on.

These are all very relatable reasons. First friend who told me about it really didn't know what he was talking about, so I quickly dismissed him (he's a shitcoiner now, and not rich by any stretch lol).

Watched headlines too. Felt smart when it crashed.

Came around eventually 🥲

I figured with a thirst-trap name like YarnLady you'd be single! 😂

That's cool 🥰

Are you and mre a couple/married? Don't think I was aware

I took the quiz and was recommended the same one you've got. The difference seems to be drinking coffee at home vs on the go. But good to know. Bookmarking for holiday season

See linked note for relation to Rand, and the OP for actual advice on technique. I don't personally do it, except the rare time I think about it. Sposed to work tho

Quote is confusing because we are changing denominators in going from first assertion to second. I don't know enough about the demographics to know how misleading it might be, but sense it is somewhat the case considering the source. That's all I'm saying. I read it like Bonney did first couple times, which I think is normal since that's how an honest communication of such figures would normally be presented, but upon closer inspection doesn't look that way.

Oh? Guess coinos/damus still not quite fixed. Seems like most going out after two days of broken, but not the one I sent you. Good!

We gonna pahmp? New ath today. It's in the bag, graaape!

Nice one ! Can't find on Spotify so forced to listen on YouTube haha
