Camping weekend with sis and niece was a huge success! Weather was much better than expected. We hiked, swam, sat at the campfire, and toddled around a lot. Nothing like a 1-year-old to get you out and about early!! So thankful and already excited to do it again. #grateful #grownostr

Does it rap on the window? We had a male cardinal that came to the same window for years and rapped incessantly. I think it was "competing" with its reflection. You'd think he would figure out it wasn't a real bird....

Cool! How do you define keto for yourself (carbs allowed per day)? I am just starting to reduce carbs for health reasons but not (yet?) to keto level as defined by most. It's tough for me, bc after being vegetarian for several years, I feel forced into eating animals I know probably had sh***y lives, bc to get enough protein on a real-food veg diet (especially as an athlete), too many carbs come along for the ride, and regen/humane meat is just too $$ and hard to verify. Why does the modern food system make it so hard to eat healthfully and ethically?? You have to be so vigilant just to avoid added sugar. 😔 Sorry to vent... and good luck on your keto journey!

Headed to family camp this week...a treasured 60+ year tradition in my extended family. 🥰 Imagine typical summer camp activities (archery, arts and crafts, swimming, boating, horseback riding, ropes course, etc. etc.) except with your family. Or if you just want to hang out on the cabin porch, go for it. So thankful to have dedicated family time that's more than a hectic one-day holiday to relax and really spend time together. Brilliant idea to start it in the '60s, Grandma. 😊 This year we have 20+ people!

In addition, pretty sure he is very concerned about nosediving birth rates and what that means for the future. So guessing he figures at least he can do his part and make up for some of the people not having kids, haha.
