Not much information here, but we hope your investment journey is a long and productive one.

As far as your process, please feel free to real out directly if you prefer insight on how we approach privacy and security in the real estate arena, or investing in general.

Censorship by governments and big corporations is poised to intensify, posing a significant threat to online communities. As governments worldwide assert greater control over the internet, restricting information and silencing dissent, tech giants are increasingly cooperating with these efforts.

Smaller platforms like Nostr, which prioritize unfettered expression, innovate and adopt decentralized technologies to maintain their commitment to free speech.

The battle for digital freedom in the face of increasing aggression from powerful entities will define the future of online discourse and community building.

Glenn Greenwald is undeniably one of the last true investigative journalists of our time. With unwavering commitment to exposing government overreach and corporate manipulation, he embodies the essence of investigative reporting. His work, exemplified by the Edward Snowden revelations, sheds light on the erosion of privacy rights in the digital era.

Privacy is indeed a natural human right. It's rooted in our autonomy, dignity, and the ability to freely express ourselves without fear of surveillance or intrusion. In an age marked by data breaches and mass surveillance, safeguarding this fundamental right is paramount. Greenwald's dedication to holding powerful institutions accountable for privacy violations serves as a beacon for a society increasingly ensnared in a web of surveillance.

As technology advances, the battle for privacy intensifies, and journalists like Greenwald play a pivotal role in championing this basic human right, reminding us of its enduring significance in an interconnected world.

If there are ways not mentioned, please share.

We forgot to mention in person, exchanging for currency. Or getting paid directly for services, either in person, or online directly to your wallet. Anything missing?

Agreed on both points. But most people do not care about privacy until it is violated.

Convenience and comfort is part of human nature. We only react when we feel pain. Unfortunately, once that happens it might be too late to reverse anything.

That is a great tool in a web browser, with many more available. We have a free, self guided course to help people with exactly these kinds of tools. Part 2 of our fundamentals is called Device Optimization, and web browsers tie into this.

We can do a lot, it only takes a different effort, and an approach of self reliance. We put a lot of information on our site, and our posts here have good, actionable guidance.

Is there any specific part that you are referring to?

The trend is constant spying and surveillance. Unfortunately (not in this community) most people don't care about their privacy until it is violated. People want the convenience without understanding the cost in terms of freedom.

By using an OS like GrapheneOS, and a faraday bag, with phone and service paid privately, you will still get spied on, but the information serves no one. By using standalone GPS unit, and not connecting your cell phone to your vehicle, there will be minimal information sent, see above. With properly sandboxed accounts, and single purpose login/password combinations, information cannot serve anyone.

I agree these might be too technical for the average user, but it is certainly possible.

In the physical world, spying will continue to be more pervasive as it is just going to get implemented in the name of "your protection." In Europe, worldcoin was immediately received by millions. The Federal Reserve will likely create the CBDC and call it something else.

The only way is awareness, vigilance, and patience as these things take time to change.

Unfortunately, history will dictate otherwise. Governments can borrow fiat currency, and pay for any land. People that are in a desperate situation, such as a natural disaster, have to be even more vigilant than during good times. It is during these time of stress, that governments exploit human nature and offers "solutions" to people who are fully capable of handling themselves.

If the past is any indicator, the government will overtake the land, and sell the idea of how it will "create jobs" and everything will comply with the ESG initiatives, etc...all the while borrowing more currency to do so, causing more inflation, and sticking people with the ever increasing bill.

Historically, price controls are an act of desperation by a government that has lost control. Even back in ancient Rome, Emperor Diocletian tried this, and we all know how Rome eventually fell. America has tried price controls as well with President Nixon.

Prices of things like rent, should rise and fall due to economic forces alone, such as supply and demand, not the interjection of fiat currency by a government that inflates it.

Politicians are not creative. They take tactics from the pages of history and call them something different, as "Bidenomics" is currently demonstrating. The result has been, and always will be a new turning as Ray Dalio eloquently states in his books.

Unfortunately, it is the goal is to get people living on the streets, not a side effect of price controls. Governments create the problem, and then provide the "solution" with the cost of less and less freedom. Human nature is such that people only react to things when they feel the pain.

Why does anyone expect the BBC to do anything different? They are part of the legacy/traditional/dying form of media. They are trying to keep whatever power they have left, by appealing to the people that control it.

Unfortunately, examples are made to remind people that there are two classes of people on Earth: those that are in control, and everyone else. Cases like this, which are purposely dragged on for years, tend to disappear from people's minds. The coverage is either suppressed by mainstream media, or is heavily manipulated when actually reported.

Similar to Edward Snowden, Assange may have completely dissipated from most peoples' minds (except on platforms like this). Given that there is complexity with the jurisdiction of his case, and the subjectivity of a term like "free speech," at least when applied to various governments across the world, this will likely continue to ebb and flow with attention, all the while weighing heavier on Assange's shoulders.

This is common practice. We explain to many people that even though they may not have a facebook account, the "facebook tracking pixel" is embedded on many sites.

Government, especially a state government, typically is the slowest to adapt to anything because there is simply no incentive for the government to expend resources protecting people's privacy.

The best protection is creating a single use scenario, where a user opens a browsing session, logs into the DMV with a single purpose login, does their business, and exits the session, clearing the browser.

We help people do this kind of thing every day, so please reach out if you need more information.

Every small victory is important. The fact that someone is even using encryption, in a more pure sense, like creating public and private keys on your machine, is great.

Tools like this are going to become more important going forward, given the increased surveillance state. People who know these tools are going to have the best chance at protecting themselves, and helping those they care about.

Keep working at it. Another good challenge is getting your public keys listed online. Creating a github page, which uses encryption keys is good practice. Even if you are not a coder, the exercise is worth the time.

We are always looking to connect with programmers, especially Python. Please send a message if you'd like to connect.

This is an interesting topic we see very often, especially on reddit.

We can reference the well known quote, "It's not what you know, it's WHO you know...and how well they know YOU."

The point of differentiation between every successful person we've met with a job, is knowing someone who helped you get there.

We've spoken to, and have read about, people applying the typical way online (Indeed, Linkedin) and going through hundreds of applications with no success.

Assuming you are going the typical corporate route, here is what to expect:

apply

make personalized cover letter

search on Linkedin for key people to "reach out"

wait

receive call from screener/recruiter/assistant to "screen you"

schedule call for screening

wait

schedule second interview if screening is successful

delays with video settings

and on and on, 10s or hundreds of times

The energy required to work for others is better spent on creating your own business. Entrepreneurship is an entirely different topic, and not for everyone. But the tech field is extremely saturated, and there is global competition.

Unless you "know people" or have an extremely specific skill set, like machine learning or blockchain programming, you might want to consider starting your own small business.
