I lost my fiat job, because I stood up for myself and my mental health. Unfortunately the fiat bosses don’t like employees that fight for their right to a healthy work environment. On Monday they fired me.

For the first time since I startet working, right after finishing school, I am unemployed. It feels so weird being free, not having to tell anyone where you are or what you are up to. Feels weird to listen to your inner voice and trying to understand what the soul desires. But also it feels very good not participating in this fiat-money, tax-slave system any longer. GM everyone.

As you all know, I love my kids more than anything. They are my greatest accomplishment in life. Everything I do, I do for them. That said, being a parent is sometimes very stressful. My kids know how to push my buttons better than anyone and I let it annoy me and stress me out probably more than anyone too. I know kids will make mistakes and we must use them as a teaching moments, but damn, it's sometimes really hard to do.

The profits (which are about $5/book) from the first 1,000 copies of Broken Money are going to the HRF Bitcoin Development Fund.

I think I will put the profits from copies 2,000-5,000 into making a slick animated YouTube video about the history of money and banking and the emergence of Bitcoin (basically the 30-minute summary of Broken Money). Kind of like Dalio’s “How the Economic Machine Works” video.

A popular 500 page finance book can reach tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of people. But an equivalent video, while not as deep, has the potential to reach millions as a different part of the knowledge funnel.

Because, I dunno. Fuck profits I guess. The rest of my business covers profits; the book is for a different purpose.

Someone I know in Egypt has a co-worker that was recently arrested for being a “black market” dollar dealer.

Authorities don’t mind if you own dollar accounts in Egyptian banks. But they don’t like you withdrawing them. They want to be able to fractionally reserve them, rehypothecate them, etc.

Unlike Argentina, Nigeria, Lebanon, Turkey, and many other countries, stablecoins are not popular in Egypt for dollar exposure. A common reason cited is they don’t like the intangibility of them. Same for bitcoin. But black market dollars are commonly traded for, albeit with legal risk.

All, someone tried to scam me and they were pretty good. Got a call saying they were from Coinbase and ‘authenticated’ me right away with my Coinbase, name, email and phone#.

He said this was in regards to a Coinbase data breech and not to give him any personal info, he would send me an email from Coinbase.com (he did), and for me to verify the authentication code. He sent several email verification requests form help@coinbase.com. I stopped there.

He had the email sent to me because he was the data breach trying to get me to send him the code or re-setup my account for the ‘temporary hold’ they were placing it on..

I asked to call him back on the Coinbase number and he hung up..

I wasn’t too worried because I knew my Coinbase acct was empty and I never use it, but it still scared me..

Apparently Coinbase really did have a data breach 3/14, this is how he had my info and tricked an email ‘from’ Coinbase

More then ever, I believe the White House is opposing #bitcoin at all costs (literally) because insiders believe foreign governments can move around sanctions and off the USD a bit easier through bitcoin (but not really). They are opposed from a national security, global power dominance perspective. We can argue the merits, but I think that’s their #1 reason.

They throw the false and misleading “bitcoin is bad for the environment” as the cherry on top.

Anyway, I’m super excited for the global south and our non-western brothers and sisters who are getting and adopting bitcoin, opting out, and these nations who have been under the heel of western imperialism for too long and paving their own way. It’s beautiful ✌🏻
