How do you find balance past the horizon? Shadowy Super Coder; #nostr is the internets killer app

The end of Rome, end of the medieval era, weren't exactly humanity's finest periods.

It's sick that the US is trying to do the same shit, harder, globally, with modern technology. Why the human race can rarely have nice things.

"Tell me, Mr Anderson. what good is an area if you're unable...to...speak?"

Fucking Bullseye!

Wood plates/boards are the simple & elegant left curve of platterware.

Nah, lots of people eat crap food & sweat out smelly crap, so it's necessary for them.

Crap food is the shitcoin.

Eat healthy & clean, then just wait for a potential partner to tell you that you smell nice.

Understanding it is step 0.

One must also then recognize its value, and realize it in their own life.

I know quite a few smart people who understand it perfectly well, but rarely buy or save any, and keep stepping in "fiat-life shit", never reevaluating their behavior.

IME, you can't logic your way into a bitcoin consciousness; other walls (psychological, social) need to be broken down too.

This series really articulates well the scale of fuckery that's been set up over the past few decades.

tl;dr No one owns real collateral, everyone is an unsecured creditor to their wealth, and they're all going to get screwed when the msuic stops (and it certainly will)..

Bitcoin is a 2-to-3 innovation.

"How do you get **equal peers** to agree on a fact **by themselves**?

Bitcoin is humanity's 3rd option to the 2 ways we've always sidestepped the problem: warfare/competition, and trust/faith.

The bitcoin network is merely a proof of concept, and the bitcoin token is a happy accident, an implementation detail in the PoC. It just fucking works.

The implecation of solving that problem for the first time (in history at least, can't speak for ancient lost knowledge πŸ˜‰)...makes the future look very interesting indeed!

$TRUMP & $MELANIA. Enough said.

He is not supid; he knows exactly what he's doing. He is clearly not benevolent.

PoW fixes this.

WoT relays help. Paid relays help. Personal spam filters help.

All of them require work.

That seems like a ridiculous cubicle layout, dude seems trapped, I'd react like this if I had to take a leak in the middle of the day too tbh.

You get immediate access to send fiat lightning payments IME.

Stack with LN & swap out periodically. If you spend a little effort, those swap UTXOs can be fairly "clean" too from a KYC perspective.

This & Truman Show blew my mind; neither one seems like a Carrey appropriate role on paper, but he knocked them out of the park.

Even hollywood says the dinosaurs were wiped out & roosters came from cockroaches or something πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

Headphones, brother πŸ˜‰

But yeah I understand; talking over music is worse than pausing a song every minute to spit out a prompt.

For me the reality is that talking out loud to anything other than a human (or maybe a mirror or a dog) still seems like a mental illness. Call me old fashioned! 😏

It refers to something that proves innocence.

It's good that the documents exist; it's wrong that the court wasn't informed until now.

Earn a coffee the week you want one. Using already-liquid BTC on a wrekly basis is fine for that.

Save the Manhattan-stack for someone who really generationally deserves it.

Why would you sell the equivalent of a block of Manhattan in 1790...for a cup of coffee?

A typical career is 40 years, or ~80,000 hours of spending time & earning money.

1% of that career is 800 hours, or 20 weeks (For reference, 1% of a workday is <5 minutes).

Here's my advice if you feel worried about the economy today...take 10 weeks **right now** & study nothing else besides money & #bitcoin! The other 99% of your career energy will thank you!

Unfortunately, I pulled this all off verbatim, but it's not for the faint of heart (yet). I also do believe alby gets your metadata to some degree with alby hub, which is why I stayed away for now. They said they'd remove the alby account stuff in the future; I don't see that happening.

Nsec *is* a password and vice versa, so why not just store your proton password in a remote bitwarden if you want a bunker-like solution without nostr? But also, why wouldn't proton just allow nostr logins too?
