Some folks on Twitter are saying that nostr is failing due to a plateau in user / event growth. There's certainly a lot of work to be done before normies will find the user experience to be simple enough.

But, on the flip side, I'm tracking a variety of Twitter metrics and it seems to be falling apart.

All of my Twitter integrations have broken.

Engagement metrics have plummeted.

Twitter Analytics dashboard is broken.

Impersonation bots are running wild.

Still no progress on monetization.

I'm blocked from buying Blue.

More fun in the Fediverse: last weekend, two admins had a disagreement & defederated their servers. They then resolved their differences and refederated.

Only problem is, all follows across those two servers were broken and people now need to recreate them manually. And depending on whether or not they were following the drama, they may not even know it happened.

Elon had better start training...

One of my greatest disappointments is that I recorded a Bitcoin 101 TV episode with William Shatner 2 years ago. His show was cancelled shortly after we recorded, and I suspect my episode will never see the light of day. 😞
