I think the real question is, at what range, and what are you looking to hunt? If you were to tell me turkey, I'd say work at it, white tail or mule deer, borderline, something like elk or moose, you're probably OK. I'm in the US, so using US species, translate to your own if you're not. Assuming you get as close as you were for these shots.
Then again, archery's fun, so why not both?
I just wish the clients were more consistent with how they handled following hashtags. It's hit or miss if they do it, or just ignore it.
Yep, that's the plan. May even put together the squat rack that's been in pieces collecting dust since I moved. Not sure the unairconditioned, uninsulated garage is a good place to work out, though.
In thinking about it more, I think it's having to duck under waist-high wires (and sometimes having to lean back while doing it, because of the straps attaching me to some of those wires) that did it. I probably did it at least 100 times. No way I could do 100 bodyweight squats without similar burning.
Cool, thanks. astral.ninja is probably the winner, so far, though I wish the raw metadata view was either bigger, or had scroll bars. Gossip's neat, but probably more work than it's worth for me, at the moment. Though I might look at what it would take to extend it with experimental features.
I am, now that you pointed it out.
GM Nostr, I had a bit of a rude awakening yesterday about the state of my physical fitness. I'm not skinny for me, but I'm not fat, either, so I sort of assumed that the general around the house chores, plus push and pull ups were keeping me in reasonably good shape.
I took my kids to a ropes course, the first time the youngest has been tall enough to do the adult version. Well, it's broken down into 5 sections, and while I didn't really have any difficulty doing it, my quads were already burning by the end of section 1. By section 5, I was having trouble keeping up the pace, and the kids would get a few obstacles ahead of me and wait for me.
Anyway, we finished, and this morning I'm still sore. So aside from getting the kids to school and work, I'm going to start planning a physical fitness routine so old dad can keep up with the kids better. Plus I have a big hiking trip in August, which I knew I'd need to train for.

OK, that's pretty neat. Any chance to get a "diff" version, it's a pain trying to go through all my follows to see why I have two lists with the same number of followers, and see if it's a drop one/add one situation.
It is somewhat dependent on the relays, but in general, yes. One thing I've heard, but not yet experienced, is that you shouldn't follow people (add them to your follow list) on multiple clients at a time, because follow lists are universal, and if your list on client A hasn't recieved the update from client B where you followed someone new, your list will lose that update when you follow someone on client B.
I kinda like it, makes you own your mistakes. Though there's the potential for an enhancement via a "replace with" type functionality, where you see that it's updated, can look at the older version, but also people default to the fixed version, assuming their client chooses to treat it that way.
Assuming that's following NIP-51 (I don't know), private bookmarks are broadcast as well, just encrypted.

Gah, wrong link.
https://nostrgram.co, neat interface, but it didn't immediately make it clear how to log in. (icon in top left, but I think maybe it didn't load when I was looking at global?) Works with Alby.
#[2] , I assume?
TIL there's a light switch in my kitchen that turns off power to my microwave. Since I have been drinking cold brew coffee with chicory since I was a kid, it tested me and my NASA mug. #grownostr #coffeechain
