asking the most clueless questions about life @spirko sent me

Israel has summer and winter time. Maybe Rick should clear this with hius boss first.

Like him of hate him, Erdogan in Turkiye is the GOAT as far as handling a situation where one has control over a resource that is coveted by far more powerful entities on either side.

Like Ukraine, Turkiye is a decently profitable country on its own, but has either a horseshoe or an albatross in that it owns something that the world's most powerful countries want: Crimea in Ukraine, and of course the Bosporus/Dardanelles in Turkey. In both cases, the property is essential to the defense of Russia, but because of the importance to Russia, of course the west wants to control them in order to thwart the Russians.

Unlike Z, Erdogan has expertly played the two powers against each other without ever siding unilaterally with one side or the other. Turkiye gets military help and defense pacts with both sides in case of aggression by the other. Erdogan maybe a horrible dictator and a sociopath, but he sure knows how to play the game.

Z is a n00b and a sucker, which is exactly why Nuland and her coven wanted him to take over. Like an idiot, he fell for the US line and out himself directly in the crosshairs of Mother Russia, for militarily (if not morally) justifiable reasons. Now he is pwned by the USA and Ukraine is gone.

IMO, the whole thing is a giant "school play", but my guess is that Erdogan is going to go down last. :)

Governments: "Bitcoin: another great way to remove wealth from the pockets of the proles and keep it in a vault for the exclusive use of "continuity of government"

quick! what's 51% of 21 million? :)

Not just REAL ID. I have been "given the option" to "register" with ID.me "to protect my sensitive data". In the case of the Social Security website, the invitation was optional. With Security Benefit Life Insurance, a 100% "private" (meaning non-governmental) company, the demand was mandatory.

Gee whiz, signing up for ID.me would be great! Imagine the same signon for every website! Hey, we could even set it up so that one couldn't even access the internet at all without registering with ID.me! Besides the obvious danger of putting your information in a single location where it could be stolen, sold, shared or all of the above, this would also of course make it very easy to "cancel" (censor) someone completely. Not that it would ever happen. We live in a free country. Right?

BTW, I ended up calling SBLI. I got my document and severed ties with them forever.

Does the United States Government Need a Gold Reserve? No.

> Whatever method of privatization is chosen, it would result in depriving the US regime of its stolen gold hoard. This is long overdue.

completely agree. It's bad enough that the government steals money from the proles, but to then "hold it" and not spend it on any public service is even worse.

I don't believe in government as a concept nor reserves of any kind, but I could maybe convinced that a fuel reserve or seed reserve, which could be distributed to the populace in case of emergency, may have a value if one believes that the reserve would actually be distributed (not sold! - remember the proles have ALREADY paid for it) in the case of emergency.

But a reserve of gold, or crypto or anything not of direct value to the proles, is simply stealing. The purpose of these reserves has nothing to do with public safety or any public benefit at all. Wealth reserves are stolen and held to ensure "continuity of government" - no different than Raven Rock or Mt Weather, a benefit to those in power paid for by the proles with no benefit whatsoever to them.

LOL maybe try to take one's own house first. If one doesn't pay property tax, the house may be confiscated. How is that different than the risk I bear by not paying my rent?

The government, the enforcer of the ruling class, owns everything. There is no personal ownership of property in the USA. Theoretically, that is as it was intended, but inventing an entity literally out of thin air and bequeathing it the possession of all lands is truly ludicrous.

Please explain to me how a government "reserve" of anything is beneficial to the citizenry? Theoretically, one could say that seeds or maybe even fuels could be distributed to the populace in the case of an emergency, but gold? crypto? Is the expectation that the government will provide gold or crypto to the populace in the case of an emergency? What kind of emergency would be solved by that? A government default on its obligations and/or currency? If that were to happen, would not the creditors demand the holdings of the reserve to satisfy their obligations first? Or does the theory involve a supposition that the citizenry IS the creditor? Does anyone actually believe that a government in peril would actually release anything of value to the citizenry?

A reserve of anything is simply stealing the rewards earned by the citizenry in order to ensure that the government, not the citizenry, will survive some kind of resource shortage/catastrophe. The benefit to the citizenry? Being able to go to sleep at night knowing that no matter how bad things get - food shortages, fuel rationing or confiscation, et cetera - the government will survive and continue to steal what little resources the citizenry may still earn or possess.

ok boomer. ok x'ers. ok millennials. ok z's.

The generational gap is a psyop. Obvious one as well.

Indeed. My version of this has been "the more things you own, the more things own you".

Time is gonna take so much away

but there's a way that time can offer you a trade.

Time is gonna take so much away

but there's a way that time can offer you a trade.

You gotta do something that you can get nicer at.

You gotta do something that you can get wiser at.

You better do something that you can get better at

'cause that's the only thing that time will leave you with.

'Cause time is gonna take so much away

but there's a way that time can offer you a trade.

It might be cabaret.

it could be poetry.

It might be trying to make a new happy family.

It could be violin repair or chemistry.

But if it's something that takes a lot of time that's good.

'Cause time is gonna take so much away

but there's a way that time can offer you a trade.

Because your looks are gonna leave you.

And your cities gonna change too.

And your shoes are gonna wear through.

Yeah, time is gonna take so much away

but there's a way that you can offer time a trade.

You gotta do something that you can get smarter at.

You gotta do something that you might just be a starter at.

You better do something that you can get better at.

'Cause that's the thing that time will leave you with.

And maybe that's why they call a trade a trade,

like when they say that you should go and learn a trade.

The thing you do don't have to be to learn a trade

just get something back from time for all it takes away.

It could be many things.

It could be anything.

It could be expertise in Middle-Eastern travelling.

Something to slowly sure to balance lifes unravelling.

You have no choice you have to pay times price,

but you can use the price to buy you something nice.

Something you can only buy with lots of time

so when you're old, which you will, some whippersnappers mind.

It might be researching a book that takes you seven years.

A book that helps to make the path we take to freedom clear.

and when you're done you see it started with a good idea.

One good idea could cost you thousands of your days,

but it's just time you'd be spending anyways.

You have no choice, you have to pay times price

but you can use the price to buy you something nice.

So I've decided recently,

to try to trade more decently.

I have to come clean.

although I have read about crypto for years, I didn't buy any until a couple of years ago.

at the exhortation of a friend, I bought ARRR at ~$4.

same friend apologised for that one, put me into DERO at $9.

In December, I saw him again and now he's a Bitcoin maxi. He told me that I'd be crazy not to buy some. I warned him that I am the Black Swan - anything I buy collapses. I was more worried about his large investment than my piddly couple of hundred USD.

I bought BTC at $103. I apologize to the entire Bitcoin community. I'm continuing to buy, so don't expect any rebound soon.

agree..BUT

This also has to include removing all barriers to entry in every industry -

would be (and actual) monopolists best friend are regulatory barriers to entry. Best practice would also include the end of corporations and LLCs as far as legal entities go. Make the owners directly liable for any injury to customers and/or the environment and of course remove the government wholly from the capitalistic process.

RFK has it half right. It was (and will be again) an operation, but Gates and Fauci were just the face of it. The operation was under the US Department of HHS (BARDA) jointly with the Department of Defense. Supposedly Pompeo (US Secretary of State), among others, was read in on it and told Trump only after the fact. Trump is said to have replied "well, someone should have told me".

Of course, Trump then went on with Operation Warp Speed (the DoD phase of the psyop) anyway. He's no hero.

Can't wait for Reich to show us where the "global democracy" is. "Democracy", like "AI", like "media", is simply a tool to keep the proles from realizing that a small minority of people are running things - an oligarchy.

Sure, Trump is the "O'Brien" in this real life version of Orwell's "1984" (i.e. Trump is seen as "on the side of the proles", but he is a lifelong member of the "inner party" and will be there when we are all rendered to Room 101), but the inner party has existed since..maybe Venice? Maybe even before that?

Reich is as much a puppet as Trump is. He is playing his role of the "good guy" to the TDSers, who have been programmed since 2016 to hate Trump even (maybe especially) when that hate means reversing all of the values they held dear during the 60s-Clinton administration. Pro war, pro surveillance, pro censorship.

Their grandparents would have hated this progeny, but sadly the surviving ones have fallen for the propaganda just as their progeny has. My 102-year old great aunt says that "if she had a gun, she would shoot Trump herself". How sad. Imagine being that old and living through so much experience only to spend your final days immersed in hatred.
