I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy with a 10+ year focus on geriatrics. Specifically helping people help their parents navigate this current healthcare environment in the US. It seems no one thinks about their parents having a fall, injury or medical event until they wind up hospitalized and most of the decisions and responsibility falls on the children. I have written a book titled The Accidental Caregiver’s Guide: The toolkit for navigating the healthcare system and aging in place. It has 153 five star reviews on Amazon. If anyone would like a copy just reach out and I can email you a free pdf. Also happy to post the book for free on nostr if there is a way to do that. My wife and I are actively reducing our hours working for someone else and look to spend more time raising our young daughters and focusing on our health.

That’s a link to a pdf of my book on helping our loved ones navigate the medical system and get back home safely. Reach out if you need anything!

The book is also up on #Alexandria, I’ll post a link to it via nostr when I can find it.

An example from nostr:nprofile1qqs0u3zuhclx8szdpnpqdwwuk9t9976hcg3qsxh4kxl0s24vzndhmkqprpmhxue69uhhqun9d45h2mfwwpexjmtpdshxuet5qyg8wumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytnhd9hx2qg5waehxw309aex2mrp0yhxgctdw4eju6t0hk88jy 's book, that has graciously been published for Nostriches. I'm still working on the formatting, and prettying it up some more, but it's already readable and full of really great advice.

Highly recommend, for anyone with aging or disabled family and friends.

(I guess that's everyone, actually.)

Hey! Is there an easy way to link to my book on Alexandria?

You only suck at advertising because you think you suck at advertising or you don’t want to do it. I wrote a book and I suck at advertising.

Me too. It’s a good night! Attended a 50th anniversary party at a brewery.

Nice! Why only the shorter ones? From what I’ve begun to learn, it seems like a lot of benefit is derived after 72 hours.

Haha I’ve done 84 a month ago. It wasn’t so bad. The hardest part was feeding my two year old hamburger and mozzarella for dinner. Outside of being in the kitchen with them it want too bad.

Nice! I’m finishing up my second 24 hour fast this week. Looking to push towards 100 hours in a couple weeks.

Worst bull market ever. @MartyBent some super cycle!

Tried to zap this post but it said “ cannot complete payment. User not found on destination server” just fyi.

Ended my fast today at 84 hours. First one over 24 for me. I was not prepared for the autophagy poop at 82 hours. Interesting lessons learned. All in all I will do it again, quarterly or more often. Likely stretching to 120 hours + next go. #fasting

#prayerchain It is. It’s on every app on nostr with the # why create a new thing to have to look at or do? I can easily follow it on primal.

Things seemed to go as well as possible. Will update. Thank you for the prayers.
