I hear about Shinobi from nostr:npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev #BitcoinAudible. He reads his articles about #Bitcoin and #Lightning. Do you guys think his technical opinions about this two topics also flawed? Because when you are not too technical yourself you need to trust someone at some point. For example I feel like I can trust nostr:npub1qny3tkh0acurzla8x3zy4nhrjz5zd8l9sy9jys09umwng00manysew95gx when it comes to his moral compass.
This reminded me, the other day nostr:npub1a2cww4kn9wqte4ry70vyfwqyqvpswksna27rtxd8vty6c74era8sdcw83a was saying in #WhatBitcoinDid to nostr:npub14mcddvsjsflnhgw7vxykz0ndfqj0rq04v7cjq5nnc95ftld0pv3shcfrlx that pure self custody is a platonic ideal so we all need to trust someone at some point with something.
It's fine to trust Odell but that doesn't mean he is right any more than Shinobi is wrong. So far Nostr hasn't gained any users beyond some bitcoiners & despite Odell regularly saying Nostr will be the standard it won't be if its just a sub-set of bitcoiners using it.
Trust the privacy of Monero over all others. Bitcoin has been overtaken by the banksters. And getting away from deep state banking was what started all of this. Meanwhile AI "Life Patterning" cameras now going in to small towns. If Blackrock & Palinteer are getting in on it and Trump is demanding all KYC on exchanges....then Monero is the only game changer not defeated by the NSA. Qbit is deep state and they have already spent hundreds of millions to defeat Monero and they can't do it.

I had a really hard time listening to the criticism he brought up. He had no facts or technical reason, all just opinions.
