Not true.
I'm not saying I'm smart. In fact I'm certain many are smarter than me and still not in Bitcoin. Much of it is aptitude, people around you, interests and need.
I never really heard anything about it until 2021.
Anyone who got in and stayed
I accept that anyone who became a Bitcoin maxi before I did is smarter than I am.
I give homestead tours to hundreds of people a year. Almost all of them have heard of Bitcoin and vaguely know what it is. But only a small fraction have some, and only a fraction of those people who have some can confidently send a transaction. It's shocking to me most people just disregard Bitcoin and those who appreciate it still don't participate.
Maybe less risk adverse, but dunno about smarter 😉
I endorse this message.
Also, anyone who went in on nostr before you is smarter than you.
aww thanks man 🥳
Sifting through the bullshit when you first get interested in Bitcoin is pretty difficult, especially pre-2020. Being "smart" has nothing to do with it. Understanding why you as an individual need it is the key component and that doesn't take smarts, it takes focus and humility.
Make that more open minded.
Lots of “academically” smart people i comp sci dismissed bitcoin because they live in a 1st world cushy bubble.
When you get blacklisted and bank accounts shutdown you wake up really fast.
Bitcoin can be the only means of survival.
Here me and the brain trust buying all the way down to $15k.

That's maybe what the ego people tell themselves and that's why they have such a big problem to look into Bitcoin again more deeply after the initial dismissal.
But it's a keynesian/communist/technocratic bias - thinking that smart people do smart things and dumb people do dumb things.
The real world is not so deterministic.
The underdogs always have the fighting chance. And that's what's so beautiful about it.
You can never guarantee a win to anyone. But you can guarantee a loss to the guy who chooses to never play.
I admire more the people who bet more relatively
I’m pretty retarded and I’m almost certain I got into Bitcoin before 99.99% of Bitcoin holders.
Not looking good for Bitcoiners IQ
Anyone who sold before I did became dumber.
They may not like it but accept it.
"Smart" people make "dumb" decisions and "dumb" people make "smart" decisions all the time, but the "smarter" ones tend to be better equipped to deal with the consequences and more likely to choose differently in the future, when presented with a similar choice.
I accept… if they hodled
I'd say more open minded rather than smart
nostr:npub1san22nhe59ct8pstcehav4dtkf94lkn46ltl7d30g3zzl00tg7ussgqjdd is the smartest man alive
Doing my best every day (: LOL
Menger and Hayek disagree. Information is not uniformly distributed - you can’t get into Bitcoin if you don’t know of it.
I first saw the word in 2013. I stupid
I'm retarded, and got into Bitcoin in 2021. This checks out.
This is true
And have held this entire time is amazing. Bitstein probably has to #1
He is maybe 30 and has been in bitcoin for 12 years!
People studying Austrian economics as “kids” is the most impressive thing to me. I was getting high and playing GTA San Andreas. Cost me a couple shekels.
And the ones who convert their bitcoin into Monero now because bitcoin is being hijacked by the system and will not give us freedom are even smarter.
True, there is a correlation between former and the latter group.
Most will understand that only when they have to connect their digital id to their utxo's and custodial wallets.
I would say that age is generally also a factor.
Or they were just born before you, smh.
Cool story rich nerd
This one ain’t gonna do it lol
It kinda did though... I figured being called a " rich nerd " may illicit a condescending reply. Your reply was pretty mild, I'd hoped for a stronger insult. 😉 While I'm sure this interaction didn't do it, I imagine you have been offended before in your life. Or at the least have felt the feelings many would describe as being offended or upset, prior to reacting in a less than stoic manner. I'll be the first to admit I have. Generally I don't call it offended, I say someone pissed me off, semantics. Saw your other post and curiosity got the best of me.
In my mind being pissed off is distinct from being offended.
It's definitely been proven that rich people see themselves as "the chosen ones"
Don't be too much of a cunt to make yourself Claus Schwab 2.0
Wealth makes you as dead as the rest of us when the time comes.
Well, at least I’m still smarter than anyone who got to bitcoin after me, so I got that going for me 🤷♂️
Exactly
Checks out. I had to lookup "heuristic".
What if you got in earlier than most but got rekt on shitcoins prior to becoming a maxi?
I only count it from when you became a maxi
Nah. this is provably untrue.
people that got to it early were either the wizard programrs and deep thinkers or the dark market drug purchasers
sadly both are probably smarter than me, now I just quietly stack what I can and tend to my small Michael Saylor love shine
Heeheee.
Anyone who found Jesus before you is more saved than you are.
Anyone who integrated clean eating and exercise into their life before you is healthier than you are.
Anyone who took the Covid vax before you trusts the science more (or less depending on your perspective) than you.
Pithy statements are boring and uninsightful. Not trying to be a dick, but life is much more complex than 13 words. Any I bought btc quite early, so I know my logic is solid here :)
