Primal's NWC is here! That means that you can now use Primal's wallet to send zaps from any NWC-enabled app! This is huge for those that use Primal as their main wallet but also explore other Nostr apps and Other Stuff applications. Enjoy!

Examples:

You can add a Primal NWC in Olas and zap in Olas using your Primal balance.

You can add Primal NWC in Damus and zap in Damus using your Primal balance.

Pretty cool.

For whatever reason my premium account says expired in February 16th 2025 (it's a ways away. unsure if it ever properly caught my premium subscription).

Also, images still post in backwards order than they were published on a different client meant to go in specific consequential order (last image shows up first, when it is supposed to be last.... One wish, that there was an indicator on the main screen that shows how strong the connection is between client and relays. Perhaps a circle around the profile icon that shows the ratio of connected (green) and disconnected (red) relays from the Settings:Network list?

I'm asking because frequently I get the notice on Web that the app is having trouble connecting to the relays.

Images in a quote post are now under the quoted note instead of the caption. Is this a bug?

is there any chance that the way threads are displayed will be reworked? It's tiring to have to click into every nested comment in a thread and then swipe out of all of them. Some other clients do an auto expanded view of comments the OP interacted with or other expand every nested comment. I appreciate your hard work!

Nice but you should also allow people to connect other wallet to Primal and not only connect Primal wallet to other clients…

There are two big issues:

1 - Primal wallet is totally KYCed!

2 - In the countries where Strike does not have the license to operate (Italy for example) it is not possible to activate Primal wallet and so this makes impossible to zap on Primal!

Amber login (whatever NIP that is :ufo:) would be a huge next feature. Ty for the great work

Works really well, but the wallet balances displayed are not correct. Test on habla.news and zap.stream and both show the zap limit as the balance. nostur shows nothing. Is there something different in this implementation than something like coinos or alby?

Any word on when Canada will be eligible for primal wallet? I’d like to be able to manage sats & zap all in one spot eventually.

Bit of a hassle hopping around different apps just to zap, it’s doable, but I’d really like to go Primal only.
