Oh I agree. I think he is best case a grifter and worst case a bad actors. He’s always going to play to his incentives though, and this is an easy public image win for him.

Apple’s stance is as wrong as blocking a web browser from the app market because people can use it to move money between their banks and pay their bills without giving apple a cut.
HTTP and Nostr are both protocols. No? If there is rationality in the decision at all apple will back track. But I don’t really expect rationality. Until they see adapting to the new technology as in their interests, route around them.
