Is it a complete psy op to say that just carnivore is better though? I’ve been on carnivore for at least a year and I think it’s great

I understand people’s body react to different things differently etc. and I’ve genuinely found complete commitment to beef and lamb to be unmatched

Sugar always ruins my concentration and steadiness etc

Veg can be fine!

Carnivore is great, but long term it has its own set of side effects.

One fun thing to try would be keep doing carnivore except for right before, during, and after your workout where you consume a sugar in some form and see how your workout goes and how you feel after.

Also depends on the season. In Ireland I’m not sure how long you can get vitamin d for during the year but that plays a role in sugar intake as well

Ireland has 2 seasons - July and winter 😂 if that answers your vitamin D question 😂

Yes I’ve read people feeling lethargic during workouts such as Paul Saladino and Joe R. Both recommending what you said there.

I may try it, I’m not against it. I’m not a carnivore maxi, it just had a great impact on my life.

What are the long term negative effects of carnivore if you don’t mind elaborating?

YOLO! Being open to experimenting with diet has been great for me.

As far as long term effects from Carnivore: depletion in certain vitamins and minerals, cortisol maxxing which results in accelerated aging, hair loss, etc. from your body having to constantly be converting protein to energy

I’m not a carnivore hater either by any means. I think it’s an excellent diet, just not something I would do for an extended period of time

Interesting and noted 🤝

This is exactly how I eat. Keto all the time except healthy carbs before and after a workout, which is every 2 days. Works great for me, I'm approaching 50 and feel like my health and fitness just continue to improve.

Everyone has to do what they feel best doing. I do worry about a disconnect for most people when eating majority animals. Have you ever hunted your own animal or been part of the butchering process?

And yeah too much sugar does interfere with concentration… it’s hard to know what the balance is

No never hunted and that’s the plan. Most of us are disabled from sourcing our food. Most urban people don’t t have the land to grow plants so even then your dependent on a regulated industry.

No and no

Id elaborate more on a reply but I’m unsure why it matters… I do live in Ireland though and the food quality here is quite high… if that’s connected to your point

Yeah i do great on carnivore. And or strict keto. Feeeeeels great man.

Yes. I use to have digestive issues and I no longer do. The bitcoin carnivore community has had the best impact on my life bar bitcoin itself.

I’m not a carnivore maxi though, as in if you can eat other foods, feel good and look well then you’ll be fine

The biggest killer of people nowadays is stress and anxiety. Whether it’s day to day or long term. Carnivore brings immediate benefits to my life and its effects are self evident. People live to 90 on spuds, steak, beef, bread, butter, whiskey and Guinness where I’m from, they have a carefree attitude living a traditional life

My family also suffer from gluten intolerance. We can eat it but suffer later. Beef and lamb fixes this. I could probably eat veg and rice and if I have to for some reason on occasion then I do

I’m on the same page with you exactly.

This diet helps me eat clean and removes interest in junk. When I go off the diet, I tend to gradually then suddenly increase my intake of junk. It happens at a subconscious level.. because consciously.. I am aware that I do not want to eat it, I am aware that it’s bad for me. But my inner urge, or my subconscious completely ignores that and then before you know it. I am shoving my mouth with something that makes me feel like crap EVERY time 😂

Yep

Completely get it. More important than all, don’t sweat the small stuff like that

Once you’re eating mostly red meat, you’ll be fine

Pretty much!

Now if I can start working on taking a break on coffee.. ☕️ 😂

Coffee is a hard one to break but I’ve done it

It’s been replaced with tea but tea is so much more manageable

I low-key think coffee is bad for you just because of how good it is 😂 I’m insanely productive on it

It definitely messes me up with cortisol levels, and electrolytes. I thooooroughly enjoy it though. With a nice fat spoonfull of HWC. Yum
