Yep. Been doing a little pre-rut sitting and scouting. Everything is bedded down during the day, but there are signs things are about to switch on as always early to mid November.

Yes! I was gonna go out this morning, but it was raining pretty hard. Got a small buck with a bow last week. Good luck!
out bird hunting at the moment (waiting out gale force winds today) but I like deer hunting as well

You could just walk around my neighborhood bagging deer left and right, since they’re so tame.
New to hunting myself but I live in the world where most people hunt for food they eat. Some for show for antlers. I just want to kill what I need to eat and help preserve the habitat
Yes. Ive been out every morning for 8 days now. I had good activity today. A gnarly buck grunting up a storm. I moved a stand over to the direction he was. Found some fresh scrapes there. Setting up my stand, he made an appearance or it was another buck. I might try this afternoon.

Awesome, how much harder is it to hunt with a bow compared to using a gun? Also, I'd love to see more hunting related content on nostr, so thanks for posting a pic!
It is definitely harder but hard to say how much. I think the biggest thing is you have to be able to get them to come in a lot closer to even have a chance at a shot. Also, deer tend to run off after an arrow vs a gun so it’s tricky to track them sometimes. I’ll keep the Nostr world updated on how my hunting goes. Thanks for the follow!
