To accelerate the detox of linoleic acid, the toxic fatty acid in seed oils but also high in avocados, olives, chicken, pork, and supplements.

1. Strictly eliminate all seed oils. No premade food or eating out.

2. Pause chicken, pork, and eggs.

3. Audit supplements for seed oils.

4. Consume only tallow from ground beef.

5. Otherwise reduce fat intake as much as possible, increasing carbs and lean ruminant protein to provide sustenance.

6. Pause milk, consume Parmesan Reggiano for calcium.

Retest in 30 days.

This approach is difficult, but should allow the full detox of linoleic acid in a couple months, as opposed to 4+ years.

Eliminating linoleic acid from your fat stores will go a long way towards permanently healing your metabolism.

Can linoleic acid in eggs and chicken generally be reduced by making sure the diet of the chickens does not contain seed oils?

Yes

Yes, a low PUFA feed (doesn't exist in the market) can reinstate chicken fat, including in egg yolks to it's low linoleic, ancestral state.

Or you can source low PUFA eggs from Nourish Coop, which is currently the only commercial operation existing that does specifically low linoleic acid eggs.

Awesome, thanks! I’ve previously looked into Angel Acres, but the eggs were pretty expensive at $2/egg plus shipping. Maybe it’s worth it, but I decided to try to build a local pipeline for now.

That Grok conversation is super helpful. I wrote down the summary to share with my local source:

No sunflower seeds or avocado pits, tho. Macadamia and coconut are special for their high sat fat contents. Sunflower seed and avocado do not share that quality.

Ah, I should have added the PUFA trade-off when I mentioned sunflower seeds and avocado pits as alternatives. It’s good to know what a gold standard might look like, but I added those alternatives to give my local suppliers some leeway to keep their costs low.

I just talked to my egg supplier today and she said that supposedly the pumpkin seeds also double as a natural dewormer, so that may be something to consider as well.

Just so you know those would undermine the entire goal.

I agree, it would no longer be a low-PUFA diet.

This strictness and quality of this low-PUFA diet makes it evident why eggs could be $24/dozen. You get what you pay for.

Yes. It's hard and expensive.

TBH tallow might be the most affordable fat to use.

It’s a steal. I buy a gallon at a time.

If I were to fry any food at home, this would be my go to for sure

Black soldier fly larvae (BSFL) are going to be better than both crickets and mealworms and should be less expensive if buying, or more efficient to raise if farming them.

Thanks for sharing! I’m considering buying some food supplies for my egg supplier, so I will look into this is an option.

Do you know anyone raising and selling BSF?

Yes where are you located (country)? Lots of people and companies

Minnesota, USA

The body does not convert fat it uses it directly in cell growth. You can't detox from the linoleic acid in your cells, until they die and are replaced with healthy cells. That is why full detox takes 5-7 years but levels are considerably reduced after about 3 due to the half life of cells.

Why pause chicken pork and eggs?

Because the fatty acid profile of commercial feed is present in the fats of monogastric livestock.

👍🏻

Which testing method do you recommend?

I like Vibrant Wellness's Nutri Pro.

Thank you for the great info!

Already doing steps 1-5 but 6 has got me 😭 for some reason I have an emotional attachment to my raw milk in my morning coffee

Does it help if the raw milk is skimmed or is there something else in milk that makes us hold on to toxins?

And would cutting out milk also include milk products such as yogurt?

In the context of depleting linoleic acid rapidly, you need to be as aggressive as you can handle reducing fat.

Therefor, zero or near zero dairy fat.

Of course, if you can't handle it, some diary fat might give you the stamina to keep this going longer, but for me I'd rather it be more painful for a shorter period of time so that I can return to a low/mod fat diet of my liking.

This is a temporary protocol only.

Don't fly blind: get your labs.

Thanks for the detailed info, always appreciate your posts!

A bit pricey but I love Vibrant's tests.

If you aren't explicitly trying to turbo deplete linoleic acid, then just play the long game with your standard peaty diet, which is of course high dairy of all sorts.

My personality generally does better with less extreme, expect with peating I have seen the benefits of locking down for a short period of time to make things much easier in the long run

For example the way I adjusted to using carbs for fuel was by going very low fat and even low protein during the day for almost a month and this helped immensely.

So considering this rapid linoleum acid depletion protocol for long run benefits!
