Intermittent fasting & bulletproof coffee are my two favorite wellness hacks at the moment.

What about you?

What's bulletproof coffee?

It’s the best way to enjoy coffee, imo.

1 cup of coffee

1 Tbsp of MCT oil

1 Tbsp of grass fed butter

It prolongs the effect of the caffeine and prevents the typical crash, it increases focus, and stimulates the release of ketones (they promote fat loss; this is why you want to have it first thing in the morning to break your fast). Also, for many people, MCT oil loosens up your bowels real quick so keep that in mind 😅

I do this as well!

You’re doing it right 🤝

🫂

Cool thanks for the tip! Also okay without MCT oil?

It can work, but you wouldn’t get all the benefits as bulletproof combines the effects of medium chain fatty acids (MCT oil) and small chain fatty acids (butyrate/small chain fatty acids).

They each have their long list of benefits, but yes, you can do without the MCT oil if you prefer 😊

Thank you 🫂

same recipe here! 💣

Tastes so good 🤤

Intermittent fasting basically you are skipping breakfast and that’s why it is easy to lose weight:)

True, but I don’t do it for weight loss. I do it to support my gut health and digestion. Having bulletproof coffee first and food later on is easier for my body to handle.

It’s great as long as it works for you. Doing something sustainable for long time is super power.

Sauerkraut, arugula, and fasting for me. 🫂🤙🤦‍♂️

Not🤦‍♂️ but meant to ⚡️. Fat fingers

Sauerkraut I get, but arugula? Do explain, sir.

Wake up > Meditation for 15 mins > Quick body weight workout > Running 5k > Walk 3k. That’s why hack nowadays.

Good one!

This is a great reminder that I should really get more into meditation.

My mind is act like monkey mind and feeding me crazy thoughts based on life situation. If life is good then thoughts are good which helps in positive feedback look. If there crisis or challenges then I do meditation regularly to be present and observe the negative thoughts and let it go.

It is similar to neural network where each neuron have weight associated with it. The idea is you try to not add weight to the negative thoughts by not strengthening it.

That’s a great way to put it. And I agree with you! Meditation is most beneficial in times of stress. Easy to leave it aside when life is feeling good!

GM! 🤙🏽☀️☕️

Haha just finished my first cup. Already looking forward to my second one 😆

It won’t taste as good as the first one

That’s so true! 🥲

I’m digging into the intermittent fasting thing atm. Lot of arguments pro and contra I’ve heard.

Normally my day start with keltic seasalt (for electrolytes) and half an ounce of grass fed raw liver

Yeah, it doesn’t work for everyone. Just gotta test it and see how it feels.

Hadn’t heard of keltic seasalt, might have to try it. But raw liver? Oof, maybe not 😅🤣 Good for you though!

Celtic sea salt **

And ofcourse liver! It’s the most nutrient dense food on the planet! It gives you huge amounts of benefits! Organ meat is a must I would say. Make it a habit and you’ll start appreciating it

I know, I know. I take them in capsule form (no additives; just plain grounded up dried organs). Haven’t summoned the courage to eat them raw just yet 😅

Oh okay that’s a great way to take them!

Good to hear 😍

A few drops of Thieves oil with a teaspoon of local honey (for me it’s from my backyard).

Locally sourced food. Love it!

What are the benefits of thieves oil coupled with honey?

Thieves is anti-microbial, anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, immune boosting. The coupling with honey is primarily because thieves is a hot oil blend and is therefore pretty spicy on its own and also because local honey helps your body manage allergens.

I take it because I find my body kicks off/wards away the crud much faster and morning congestion clears up a lot easier.

Also the only sweet thing I usually have in a day lol

Oh, intriguing. I’m gonna have to do some research. Love me all sorts of natural remedies and health elixirs 🙌

Thanks for the tip!

I fasted intermittently for many years (I ate in the evening for 4 hours ) That was really great. At the moment I eat several meals a day. I run every morning for about an hour long and I also work out several days a week at the gym. That together just requires more meals. But I'm doing great with it. However, it still needs to settle in more.

Woah, you only ate for 4 hours a day? I could never 😅

Props to you on all the movements you get in during a week! Makes sense that you eat more.

I feel best when I exercise regularly and don’t snack. Big brunch and dinner though!

healthy snacks is a life hack.

I am addicted to dates 🤤

Precisely this type, kept in the fridge.

I think it comes from the #UAE

bulletproof coffee ✅

Fasting: not too often, but from time to time

For me it was a Tongat Ali trial recently for 3 weeks+

In addition, progressive overload during my weight sessions, „tracked“ by taking notes and not „randomly“ training. That has impacted very positively

Interesting. Should track my progressive overload too instead of doing it randomly 😅

But what about that Tongat Ali trial? I’m unfamiliar with that..

Herbal supplement / natural base.

From SouthEast Asia.

Its similar to Ashwaganda. You can consider it as a natural testosterone booster.

There has been a recent Huberman Lab Podcast Episode, where he was talking a bit more in detail. If you want, I can post that here 🙏🏽

I like Huberman! I have a list of his episodes to listen to right now 😅 Will add that one too and share it with my man.

Also, love ashwaganda! It helps with relaxation and good sleep 👌

Yes pls share with your husband. And tell him pls do his own research 🙏🏽 Its not officially listed as supplement, at least in Europe. The company I got it from seems US based…

I checked the impact with a blood test prior and after and can confirm

a quite significant increase in total testosterone level.

Might recommend the same and probably get total and free testosterone levels next time.

Wow, that’s impressive! More men should know about it and take it daily, considering the huge drop in testosterone we’ve seen in the male population over the last 6-7 decades.

Thanks for sharing!

Yes, it’s the most important hormone for men. (for women it plays a role as well by the way)

Not only for Libido, but for many other aspects (bone health, muscle mass, general mood and mental strenght, hair/skin).

Not a fan usually of supplements, but this one I decided to give it a careful try. If your husband wants to exchange more, he can approach via PN 🙏🏽
