Hey, I'd need a quick advice from gym-rats.

I'd like to try a 7 days period creatine loading.

I weigh around 88kg, so multiplying by .3 it would make my daily dose around 25gr.

Does anybody have experience with creatine loading? Are there any controindications?

Should I need to train more/harder to keep up with the creatine levels in my muscles?

Side effects, both temporary or permanent?

creatine loading probably isn’t necessary. it’s something that gets talked about by supp companies and guys who tren hard everyday, but for a good majority of lifters, it isn’t necessary.

I figured as much, but I'd kinda use it to gain something out.

I still have some belly fat that I'd like to get rid to let the abs shine. I figure, the bigger the muscles, the more energy they consume, the quicker the belly fat goes away. Loading up on creatine should help gaining muscles, helping me achieve what I want.

Does it make sense?

I'm asking humbly and honesly ☺️

what you’re saying makes sense. i’m not sure creatine will do what you want, however. creatine helps you get extra reps in the gym, which obviously helps with muscle growth. but as far as loading creating to get gains/burn fat quicker, it’s best to temper your expectations a bit. best way to shed that belly fat? cardio and calorie counting unfortunately. always remember: strength is made in the gym, aesthetics are made in the kitchen. by all means, look all this stuff up and decide for yourself. loading creatine won’t hurt you, and if you feel better by doing that, fuckin go for it dude. it’s all about what’s gonna get you/keep you in the gym. i’m just letting you know that the supp industry is mostly trying to sell you something. always helpful to remember. good luck my friend! 🤙🏼

Thanks! I'll have to read a few articles before I decide, but I think either I'll stick with a limited intake (3-5 gr/day until I run out the one that I bought a while ago) or let it go to waste.

Gold also to remember that companies are gonna company, wise advice 🫂

Don't use creatine. Offers quick and significant results, but not worth your time. Once you stop using it, most of those results will disappear in under a month. Natural protein is the way to go. Most of you progress will stick for a long time. Creatine can seriously jack up your heart rate, too. Doesn't seem too safe, imo.

Highly recommend posting sources for such claims.

Creatine is one of the most studied and safest supplements. Instead of eating 2lbs of meat per day (which can be a lot for most people) to achieve 5 grams of creatine you can supplement.

😏 Lol. My personal experience with creatine is my source. And I didn't mean red meat or chicken when I said natural meat. I eat mostly fruits and veggies, along with some fish about twice a week. I love a good salmon filet or tuna steak. There is no "one size fits all" diet.

Fair enough. Goals, allergies, etc. are going to be different for everyone. From the sound of it,

npub1vjxq75czca0nswp2f5kgtfyzhynuccdjs29q098rd3kv09k7s6nq39hh7v is Iooking to put on muscle which can be difficult and expensive on food alone. 💪🏼

And meat is very expensive. Fruits and veggies are not. That's why I only eat fish about twice a week. I can keep alot of it in my freezer for a long time, therefore reducing the need for spending.

Do your thing bro 🤙🏼

Great to know, my ticker isn't the best, I don't want it to burn down. Thanks man

Don't bother loading

Take 5g a day. Every day. Forever. Seriously.

There's research supporting use by everyone, including your grandma.

Get your kidney function checked in a few months. (Hopefully you have baseline numbers from a while ago.) If everything is normal, keep on keepin on. If something looks funky, back off (don't stop unless it's REALLY funky) and retest in a few more months. I'll bet a couple sats you're not 1 of the few percent of people who develop problems.

I came to the same conclusion, but still I'd like to research more. Creatine, hair and kidneys don't match very well apparently.

"Despite some anecdotal reports and experimental data suggesting that creatine could be deleterious to the kidneys, cumulative evidence from independent, randomized controlled trials clearly show this is not the case."

If you know you have kidney disease, maybe skip creatine. Otherwise, go for it.
