As you may know, Japanese Nostr users are actually already organising voluntary online study groups!
Although the main focus is on technical topics, many Japanese Nostr users are usually thinking about how to use Nostr in interesting and useful ways, so I think they will be interested in the conference!

I want to see more business on the Lightning Network. One site I checked didn't show one business in a 25 mile range of my position. I wonder if The Strike app wouldn't be a start for some of these businesses to get comfortable?

i was inquiring or seeking out retails stores, restaurants, bars, etc. that take bitcoin so that we could have a similar experience as we did at Nostrica where almost everywhere we went, we could pay in bitcoin. this isn't a requirement, just a quality of life enhancement. 😃

From my experience, I haven’t seen any ventures that would accept Bitcoin as a payment method here. I just started myself, so could be wrong. It is definitely 💯 yes for me to have a gathering in Japan! I’ll help where possible, and I am sure we can find other folks on Nostr who would be willing to help! 🐶🐾🫡
