If I were broke, these are the foods I’d buy to lose fat and get healthy:
- ground beef (70-30)
- chicken liver
- frozen/canned fish
- chicken thighs/legs
- whole eggs
Did I miss anything?

Bacon, Butter, and Bitcoin
Use any leftover bones for broth 🦴
What about beef trim and bone from the butcher. Normally these are free and when roasted and simmer slowly you get a delicious broth and lots of tasty wobbly bits of beef to eat.
Butter for sure.......but honestly can't do 70-30 ground beef.....has to be at least 80-20.
two doe rabbits and a buck, with separate cages
I very much agree with you on the food choices, however, these you can’t be too broke to afford the best quality of these items.
Ground Beef per lb is USD$5-8
Right now the crappiest eggs are USD$7.49/doz
You don’t really want soy fed, cage raised, hormone boosted chicken livers either.
I don’t always agree that any beef, or any chicken liver product is better than none.
There is such a grossly varying degree of quality in every single one of these markets, with grossly varying degrees of hormone altering, endocrine disrupting and/or carcinogenic additives.
#Quality matters, and it’s getting more and more expensive and hard to find.
Fiber 😜
Bones and chicken paws to make some awesome bone broth with.
i used to find there was a leaner type and a more fatty type, and the more fat gave me diarrhea, but it was also often cheaper, and could be made better just by letting the fat run off it well (and collect for other things later)

If you're in an area with wild hogs they are usually always in season as they are out of control.
There are a lot of programs where hunters donate meat to the needy.
Brokes can’t afford eggs these days…
GM!
Actually I've had this Thought in my head recently and completely agree.
Unfortunately what I observe is people doing the opposite and avoiding quality...
Instead doubling down on Salads and "Energy" drinks...
As that's "Healthy" and they Need Energy!
I was going to mention some, but then I remembered we're in carnivore nostr land
