After today I’m thankful I don’t know what this is about.
I tried watching the first season, and couldn't get into it. Same with Breaking Bad. I quit after three episodes.

Wife and I watching a Xmas show and the main characters Dad was gay.
My daughter was watching a kids show where a boy was clearly trans and another girl was talking about her Dads (plural) being mad at her for some reason.
Stranger things now saying the kid is gay.
I have cancelled our Netflix subscription and have went back to the 80’s / 90’s classics if we are watching anything. Sick of this.
Gay people exist in real life, and having some gay characters in fiction is normal.
The issue is bad writing, forced themes, etc. Even many gay people would watch that particular Stranger Things scene and be like “uh… this is bad”.
Fair and true.
However, Netflix seems to be getting progressively worse with forced themes.
There are many movies/shows I like that have gay people, but it’s getting weird in some shows.

Another thing that I thought was that those series are kind of designed drugs. Since they must be studying and collecting data to drive the writing and have better snd l better timings and cliffhangers and themes...
