Iβd rather talk to 200 quality people on nostr than 2 million bots and do nothing yappers on X.
Iβd actually rather talk to one quality person on nostr over the alternative.

Great signal to noise ratio.
This feels like the internet in the 90s π
Because I like to get things done and build authentic relationships and those things are possible here.
Itβs a quality over quantity thing.
Left Twitter 1.5 years ago shortly after Elon took over and they started talking about KYCing everyone.
I donβt miss Twitter at all. The quality of engagement here is 1000x Twitter.
On Twitter I usually felt like a was talking to a semi-sentient keyboard that hated me, disrespected my time, and always wanted to get a rise out of me.
Coincido contigo Eliza, amo a todos aqui #nostr
You came to the right place. Glad it was a conduit for finding Bitcoin.

Word em up.
Same π€
I doubt you ever completely delete your Twitter tho.
Are you finding it a little less toxic as well? Iβve seen the odd confrontation here but no comparison for me. More genuine is obviously great but less confrontational was a breath of fresh air for me
After Nostr, it's hard for me to go back to other platforms since my mentality has diverged a lot with their typical users. I prefer a slow feed, anyway
Yes
I had the same experience when I quit everywhere and joined the Fediverse in 2019. Social media without corporations deciding whatβs important is more natural and human. Iβm not sure if itβs the smaller community element I prefer. Iβve been using this place as the Fediverse has grown significantly since 2022.
I sometimes wonder how zaps will affect things when the platform is bigger. At this scale, it works nicely.
People here are more likely to be independent thinkers as well. Everywhere else I see armchair quarterbacks and people who overly identify with what they consume and whom they vote for. But here...people actually make things
This is a rich thought, and only by being here and involved with what is produced here, is it possible to feel it. Commenting on Nostr on another network, they seem deaf and not empathetic to what all this really is.
#Nostr π
botting your user base started with youtube, if you think x or twitter has that many years.
nostr definitely win, but we need better clients.
