I'm addicted to sugar. I went the keto route before. I was planning to do it for a month. The first 2 weeks were horrible: headaches, cravings... but I managed. When I hit 3 months of keto (of my original plan of 1) I decided to keep going and I was on keto for 2 years. I felt wonderful. So I know I can do it and I also know for 2 weeks I'll feel miserable, but then I'll feel amazing.

Bahahaha that would be a huge lie, but I can say it’s doable if you have the support (which I know he has) and to stay busy (which he already kinda does)

I found the gum helpful with initial cravings (first two weeks) because it was nasty but got me to stop thinking about smoking in the moment
I tried the gum in the past and it was pretty yucky to me (idk why because my mom likes it too). I’m doing cold turkey and smoking more joints, but also walking like a lot

I hit the one year mark on my newly beloved zyn habit in May. Then I started to notice I was always feeling tired and my dentist noticed maybe I was grinding my teeth at night. I am about 7 days off them now and miss them but noticed my jaw tension is def decreased. Strange side effect...

First target is 30 days. Change up your habits and do things to distract you so it’s not likely to get its claws in you. Drinking hurts your will power and reinforces old habits. Dodging that may be helpful. This is a chemical, and chemicals are wiley. Don’t fly close to the sun, just get through the first hardest segment with distraction, occupation and new habits in places where the habit can’t tell the body that the chemical needs to fuck with you. Avoid that chain reaction. Good luck! Keep us posted!
