Incentives alignment. With a lower time preference mindset I'm hopeful you'll value your time too much to spend seconds, minutes, hours being an asshole to people you don't know on social media. You'll be incentivized to spend that time productively instead.
Remember, with low time preference, you'll actually care about your legacy, your future grand kids etc.
