Definitive Star Wars ranking

3. A new hope
4. Return of the Jedi
5. Rogue one

Nah, Rouge One is #1
Could be true
im okay with this 🙋 id rewatch that one
empire is an incomplete movie (but decent)
return of the jedi had ewoks
revenge of the sith 💔😭NOOOOOOOO🤮
prequels are filled mitochrolian nonsense and would all be in the garbage if not for darth maul. A New Hope and Force Awakens might as well be the same movie, and the new movies make no sense.
.... or maybe it does because Star Wars was always a trainwreck when one removes the nostalgia.
Except for rouge one. Rouge One is a standalone fantastic movie with real consequences and brave heros.
No
I’m a little confused as to how a prequel film made it to this list
I was hoping this day would never come. Goodbye brother. You have obviously went to the Dark Side.
There is an argument that if looked at as individual movies R1 would rank higher but trilogy bias is real.
Also, anyone arguing Empire wasn’t the SW GOAT is just trolling.
WTF?!?!?!
1. A New Hope
2. Return of the Jedi
3. Rogue One
4. Empire Strikes Back
5. The Force Awakens(following two films are shit)
I should watch Revenge of the Sith again. A
1. Empire Strikes Back
2. A New Hope
?. Baby Yoda 🤣
NO prequel will ever make it on to the list... Except Mr Plinkett's reviews of them.
Where does this one rank?
Almost Correct, but would bump rogue one over return of the Jedi
A New Hope is better than Revenge of the Sith. And The Last Jedi is #6 for me but yeah
The last Jedi is underrated, and people hate it because of group think. It’s one of the most innovative and creative Star Wars movies and Rian Johnson was really trying something different in the middle of a franchise reboot that was chasing money and trend. You can poke holes in any Star Wars movie, but it became cool to poke holes in the Star Wars movies that were deemed okay to poke holes in by the public. The last Jedi isn’t perfect, it does have its objectively bad moments in my opinion, but to say the whole movie is complete shit Is extremely dismissive for some of the cool Star Wars things it gave us like the throne room fight scene.
The throne room scene is one of the worst choreographed fights I've ever seen. At one point a guy slows down and misses Rey seemingly on purpose. Flashy, yes. Good, no.
Arguably you can analyse any Star Wars fight scene with the right lens, frame by frame if you want to dismantle it 🤷♂️
May the Force ₿e with You my Fren
In no particular order:
- IV
- V
- VI
That is all of the Star Wars movies.
Rouge one gud
I like when the heroes die and then villans win
Rogue One is higher on my list nearly at the top
Rogue One is 99% shit. Only good thing about it is the end with Vader. Everything else is completely forgettable and meaningless.
Disagree. The top 4 are:
Empire
New Hope
Rogue one
RotJ
I don't care about the rest
Drop Revenge of the Sith below Rogue One and that's my list. The real question is, what is the definitive worst ranking?
I can't argue, though personally I would flip Empire and A New Hope. Also, everything that happened after Jar Jar's first appearance is dead to me, so my list is only a list of 3.
Exactly!
I love all of the Star Wars movies, some more than others but I still love them nonetheless.
Having said that, the first 30 minutes of Solo definitely tested my resolve.
But Revenge of the Sith is the same movie as A New Hope but with different people. You should rethink this.
Sorry, was thinking of Force Awakens. Revenge of the Sith was even worse.
Rogue one to #3
I don’t know about revenge of the sith. The rest makes sense
Revenge of the sith is goated
Anakin’s story arc is weak. It seems like they just connected the dots in haste in the third movie. The story telling is mediocre. Which is a shame since Vader is such a legendary character
You show me the use the force Luke scene and he turns off his targeting computer - I will cry in front of you right now I don’t even care who you are.
I would add:
6. Attack of the clones
7. The mandolorian series was good too
Rogue One ?!
"And these are the only 5 star wars movies they ever made. No, there wasn't a new trilogy, I don't know what you're talking about."
lol, I actually completely agree with this list except that I would put Revenge of the Sith as number 4 and move the other two up a notch. I also really liked (or at least was very surprised by) Rogue One though... 🤔
Watch Andor the only good star wars TV series done lately
