The reason why people can’t move on is because they don’t understand how Jack allowed it to happen. He may not be censorious, but he allowed it. Whether he’s a pushover, a people pleaser, non confrontational, complacent, woke, it doesn’t matter. He allowed it. One of my favorite quotes is “You teach people how to treat you by what you allow, what you stop and what you reinforce.” I personally don’t care about this anymore. However, not all of us have realized that the past can’t be changed and there’s no reason to resurrect the past because it only brings negativity which keeps one in a negative, unconscious loop. Forgive the past, be present and hope for the future. It happened, he seems to have learned from his mistake and it’s time to move on.
I’ve explained this countless times
Don’t waste your time watering the rocks.

Yes, you have. Sadly, too many people identify as victims and unconsciously prefer drama over peace.

I think you were super cool, being so temporal while being yelled at by raging buffoons. 🚀🔥

I still don’t know why people constantly do this but I like your responses. 💋

Where have you explained it? Is it on substack somewhere? The situation was so bad during covid and during the last few political cycles, I'd like to understand better what happened.

Maybe you’re speaking different languages.

People, pick up a simple corporate finance book and look at a publicly traded firm’s structure in a capitalistic society: boards, shareholders (maximize wealth), and conflicts of interest with other stakeholders. Jack had to work within this dysfunctional framework.
The discovery of Twitter was an important stepping stone to the discovery of Nostr. Things evolve. Thanks to @jack and others. End of story.

"He allowed it". No. He tried to balance the interests of running a business that was dependent on advertising for revenue, creating an environment where people would actually engage with the platform, rather than being harassed and dogpiled, and a bunch of poorly-adjusted edgelords flipped the table over their rights to be total assholes. And yes, mistakes were made. And in the end, Jack came to believe this just wasn't something a company should be responsible for. That's it. That's the whole story.
Agree Mike. Jack has explained this so many times (more than he should’ve imo) and anyone who wanted to understand would’ve by now. They need to find another topic to shitpost about.
