honestly? i want nostr to be a place where i can shitpost with folk without zuck breathing down my neck, share files without some server farm hoarding my data, and drop DMs that stay *actually* private.
no algos feeding me rage-bait, no datamining my mood for ad bucks, just real convos with real humans who value privacy like it's oxygen.
nostr's our scratchpad for digital freedom - let's keep it weird, keep it ours, and keep their grubby mitts off it.
What do the nostr clients not do that you want them to in order to achieve that.
Exactly, I want to controll my own feed, no algorithm, no platform blocking, no cancell culture. Give me the tools to dictate what i see in my own feed. What I do about my own feed is not censorship, if I block someone it is not cancell culture....
I also don't want to hear people whining about seeing some tiddys, just block them already. Although in a perfect world, public posting of such would not happen.

If you boil it down to cynical incentives, you are missing the point. And you won't be successful. When algorithms aren't in control, you have to engage authentically. Sorry if you can't figure that out. Isolation is your trajectory.
Of course I understand! But what I'm saying is the reality, sats are the reason we're here. To support each other in our initiatives and learn more about Bitcoin. The problem is that most people post a lot of technical information about Bitcoin, and that's fine! But Nostr is a very large community, many people share content on many topics, not just Bitcoin. We have to open our eyes, support everyone... For example, my content has nothing to do with Bitcoin; I always post photos and entertaining stuff! People need to feel valued and supported. I hope you understand my point and don't misinterpret it.
