You walked a mile backwards 😯?

Also, awesome on mulching. That's hard work. I need to prep my strawberry area

All these cool kids doing fun things. Peer pressure is the best worst. I’m in.

Nice day, no rain.

Ever since I tore my meniscus I try to walk backwards up hill at least 3 times a week. Easiest way to keep the knees nice and lubricated.

Always learning from you

🤝

Backwards walking equipment was making a grand appearance at the gym I toured recently.

Wonder if this would help solve knee issues that sound a lot like the cracking of a glow stick?

I believe it would. Are these your cracking knees?

Ben Patrick of ATG training a few years ago took over the world. Everybody has to catch up. Most of his stuff can be done simply at home.

Been seeing this stuff everywhere for years. I believe they’re called “treadmills”. Most people use them in the forward position tho.

Sounds about right. Except can’t market a ‘new and improved’ treadmill for big sales, so they came out with something new.

Haha true

PS, check out my new toilet design

I’ve been doing it wrong.

Comes with a nice little shelf for reading material, freeing the arms.

This was never adequately explained to me, I had to “figure it out”

Now this is a$$ backwards. And obviously not effective. No one goes to the loo fully dressed.

Yes! I just discovered backwards walking and other atg exercises from knees over toes guy on YouTube. They have been helpful rehabbing my knee (meniscus). Starting to think my running career is not over. Light trail running feels good after atg warmup exercises.

I made a sled out of a barrel rack and swing for pulling backwards to add resistance.

Great idea! I had just been walking backwards with a full wheel barrel. 😆

The swing is great. It just goes on my lower back

And that’s how you want to do it, lean in to it and strengthen the quads.

The tib raises really helped

I stick my foot in a kettle bell for those.

walking backwards is amazing for knee strengthening!

I’ve started doing this too. I really feel a difference in my knee health!

Wow, I had no idea this was a thing outside of China.

It’s definitely been popularized by the knees over toe guy on youtube! He has a video of his journey of understanding how some people/cultures have strong knees(?) and then he applies his learnings into a protocol to fix his knees. If i remember correctly he went from not being able to play basketball ever again to being able to dunk!

Huge fan of knees over toes!

It has really helped me too . I’ve gotten my full mobility back. I wasn’t sure that was going to happen.

Way to go!! 😎

🙏

what's with the backwards thing?

If you have suffered knee injuries it is a gentle way to begin rehabbing them also continued backward movements will help prevent future injuries.
