GM ☕

I had two dreams last night, which is unusual because I usually don't dream at all. Whole years have gone by without any dreams, but last night there were two.

The first was amazingly stupid. It was literally the most boring thing my subconsciousness could have generated. It was a zoomed in view of a fingernail being clipped. But every clip was poorly done, and resulted in a jagged edge. It was a nightmare.

The second dream was amazing. I saw my sigil, which I originally received when I was a little kid. I used to doodle it all over the margins in my notebooks. This time, I saw it in greater detail than I've ever seen it before.

I normally see the design as representative of a dancing goddess, surrounded by fire that's not fire. There are no straight lines, and no angles greater than 90 degrees. I've only recently begun to understand it - the fire represents grace and my own life. The goddess represents both God and the universe, but expressed as a quality of wisdom and flow. She's frozen in a posture of dance, but you can't see her at all unless you feel the dance of the lines first.

Now the part that I've never seen before, which was new in this dream : the goddess was revealed to also be a heart, and inside the heart is a curled salamander. It's tail circled to its mouth. Which "it's" is correct in that sentence? F%$ing English... Anyways. What does the salamder represent? I'm not sure. Also the center used to be a void, but now it contained both the salamander and the grace that I used to only draw on the outside.

Very peculiar... Today I'll be researching symbolism again.

My new word for the day is Sigil!

I wasn't sure it was the correct word

I was just reading about sigils to see if I used the word correctly. This is a deep rabbit hole. I think it's the right word. Apparently magicians have been drawing and using sigils since Solomon, at least. They either represent demons or the self. I think mine represents me.

Demons are another rabbit hole - they usually represent psychological forces that cause us to do things - they can be a helper, if the need is addressed, but are mostly destructive until addressed because they make you behave in ways that are over-compensatory.

Brotha. This second dream is super profound.

My read…..

Your heart is opening after being closed off for a long time. This is a REAL physiological process, FYI 💓

In many indigenous cultures, not dreaming meant your heart was unintentionally closed and shaman would world with you to (re)open it. Once you started dreaming again, it would signify significant process to that end.

The salamander eating its tail inside the heart likely represents the mythical “oroboros”. The Infinite Nature of existence ♾️

This is not a mental abstraction. It is an awakening. Infinity can only be sensed when you have opened your heart and your entire chakra system is flowing healthily. 🧬🙏🏻

Thank you so much for sharing. And congrats 🥰

Fascinating! Especially the part about chakras. I've had a problem with my back that I've been working on healing for most of this year. Before, I didn't know how to heal it, and it only got worse year after year. I found the solution on accident - I was doing stretches and breathing exercises to try to deal with a different health problem. Anyways, with my spine now moving back into the correct position, I feel much stronger and energetic. I had always assumed the chakra thing was mental, but now I'm thinking its physiological, and its something I should look more into.

It’s all related. So thrilled for you. Keep going. Practice moving your daily attention from your head to your heart.

Intentionally feeling into high vibe emotions like gratitude and abundance with every out breath. quickens the pace transformation 💓🧬🦋

Oh wow, you used exactly the right words to describe how I meditated yesterday. I did the "rising... falling..." thing, mixed with gratitude. I was trying to be fluid between meditation and prayer. Trying, lol.

You’re on it bro 🙏🏻

Keep going! 🚀

I'm intrigued as I've never had any dream of something that isn't human or animal or situational that couldn't exist in real life (they are sorta nonsensical, perhaps the train becomes to small to fit into, or the car's brake pedal becomes too far away to press).

But I've never seen any creature like what you're describing.

Well at least you get dreams! I've thought there was something wrong with me for going so long without dreams.

I saw it in frames. Whenever there was movement, my view was too zoomed in to see it all. This is probably a mirroring of my real life short sightedness. I'm almost blind beyond four inches from my face.

I think it could exist in real life. There was an etheric quality, but the dancing goddess looks like a real person, though she's hazy. The lines that aren't her momentarily become her as she moves. So it's like frames depicting motion but all put together into one frame.

i had a weird dream the other night that me and a whole little gang of friends had become infected with a zombie virus and we all scratched around to find weapons and were walking around and then at one point i am cutting a person up like they are made out of dough haha

also, if you want to remember dreams, just eat proteins near to bedtime... phenylalanine and tyrosine both cause your brain to be more alert when they are first absorbed and during sleep the result is you recall dreams

since i started eating beef regularly and often within 4 hours of bedtime i remember a lot more dreams

I'll try that. I usually try not to eat past 7 pm. There were two things I did differently last night... I meditated - I started trying to meditate again a few days ago. I used to try meditating, but I always felt goofy so I haven't tried in a long time. And also I had a huge bowel movement. Huge. Yuuuuuge. I felt great afterwards. I'm going to try to eat very little today to keep this awesome empty feeling as long as possible.

fasting is amazing... but it takes 3 days to really hit the gold

Hmm. Being infected by a virus could mean a belief that is stopping progress. The person you were cutting could be your self. Could you see the blade? If the blade was visible, it might represent your rational faculty.

Orrrr you just got zombies on the brain. Braiiins! Do you play zombie games?

i played zombie games, and the blade was a brush cutter, one that i own, sitting in my previous place waiting for me to recover and bring here to hang on the wall... it's like a hand-scythe

and i figured that the game had something to do with it (in the game bladed weapons are especially effective especially if you lop their head, and scythes especially, though during my session i was only using large knives) but i think that there was also an aspect of "wanton destruction of stupid people's illusions is kinda pathological somehow" in the dream

it wasn't serious, just sorta like, i was being indulgent
