How did you end up in Japan? I’ve always thought about moving there but no idea how it is as an expat with no family connections. Have lived a lot of other places though and Japan has always seemed like such an intriguing place to live.

Will take a long time IMO. One of the biggest pain points for me over the past year living on a Bitcoin standard. Every month having to scramble to convert enough sats to fiat to pay the mortgage and CCs adds extra work and stress.
Yeah I did put some on the side at $104k but should’ve been more. Easy to say in hindsight, always is!
I have used chopped leaves in a pinch. Probably too late for this year but keep it in mind when it comes autumn. Rake them if you got em or ask your neighbors for a couple bags, people are always glad to get rid of them. Run them over with the lawnmower and spread 4” or so over the beds after planting. Works just as well as straw imo.
