If you log into your Alby account you will find a bitcoin onchain address (getalby. com --> Receive). You can use this address to send from BW to your Alby wallet.
In which app do you use the combo Zeus/Alby? I can help you over at support@ getAlby. com
You can connect an Alby Account to BlueWallet, what allows you to keep using the same app for bitcoin onchain and lightning. https://guides.getalby.com/alby-guides/alby-lightning-account/connect-your-alby-lightning-account-to-other-apps/connect-to-mobile-apps/connect-to-bluewallet
Alby also gives you a bitcoin onchain address to convert to lightning.
Could you send us a screenshot of this message to support@getAlby. com . I will have a look immediately.
To zap posts on Damus there is there workaround with Zapplepay. Zaps to profiles work normally by clicking on the "pay" button.
For Zapplepay you need a NWC connection string which you get here https://nwc.getalby.com/ in the case of Alby.
I set up my nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm account and now have it as a browser extension. My Alby lightning address (reidwalley@getalby.com) is also connected to my #Nostr profile in the Bitcoin Lightning Tips field. (Damus client).
I thought for sure this would allow me to ZAP people on Nostr but I don’t see how when I visit anyone’s Note.
I also have an Alby LNURL address, but don’t know what to do with it. Maybe the LNURL address is supposed to go in my profile’s Bitcoin Lightning Tips field, instead of my reidwalley@getalby.com Alby lightning address?
Or maybe I can’t ZAP peeps on nostr:npub18m76awca3y37hkvuneavuw6pjj4525fw90necxmadrvjg0sdy6qsngq955?
Hmm, what am I missing?

Which Nostr app would you like to use?
web apps like Primal, Snort, Coracle or Iris: You need to add your Nostr private key to the Alby extension: https://guides.getalby.com/alby-guides/alby-browser-extension/features/nostr
for mobile apps like Damus. You need to connect your Alby wallet: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/E9c3X3oE05c

Could you send an email to support@ getAlby. com. Then we can look at it on our side.
The Alby extension encrypts and stores your Nostr private key only locally on your device and uses an open standard called NIP-07 to sign events and messages on Nostr.
No, I don't think I got anything. In which app do you zap? Could you send it to support@ getalby. com? I will answer there.
Do you still have problems zapping someone with an Alby address? Could you describe which apps you use to zap (support@ getAlby. com)
Alby allows you to store several Nostr private keys and to switch between them. But you need to add an account for each of them. It could be an Alby account or another lightning node/wallet.
Happy to help with the setup.
The master key is used to derive various private keys (e.g. for Nostr). If you already have a Nostr private key, you are good to go.
Can I help with anything related to Alby?
You can connect your Alby account to the browser extension for Nostr web apps or to mobile Nostr apps.
Alby stores your Nostr keys only locally on your computer: https://guides.getalby.com/alby-guides/alby-browser-extension/features/nostr
Good point. That's all a bit different technically. Bitcoin Connect and Nostr Wallet Connect can also work with any wallet. Any ideas how to make it less confusing?
