GM. The number of blocks of unconfirmed transactions have been slowly falling. I see ~96 left... UNDER 100!
Yes. THE MEMPOOLS ARE CLEARING. LFG.

For those who want to use Obtainium.
You can do these steps for any website to make it forget about you.
Of course, this isn't foolproof agains servers surveilling you. They will use your IP address AND... a "browser fingerprint" where they run random things to time the speed of your hardware and sniff changes in configuration to bud a unique fingerprint that they can always recalculate. Like as if your computer was a signing device and they could always pull out your public key to identify you.
This is why I use Brave... Brave thwarts this fingerprint attack.
See: https://brave.com/privacy-updates/3-fingerprint-randomization/

Are you using an extension like Alby?
If not, clearing application data should do it:
1. Visit primal.net
2. Right click on page
3. Choose "inspect"
4. Find the tabs: Elements, Console, Sources .....
5. Find the Application tab (you might need to click the >> button to see more tabs)
6. In the left section, choose "Storage" inside the Application section (after Manifest and Service Workers)
7. In the main section, find "clear site data"
8. Tick all the boxes underneath the button
9. Click the clear site data button.
If you wanted to be more surgical about it, it SEEMS like they keep all their data in "localStorage" only for now.
I've also found them by seeing their content reposted (so I follow from that)
And if they are new, you can usually tell it's them by the posts they make.
Finally if it is a friend or known person, meet them face to face. That's the best way to do even Signal, SimpleX etc. too.
š This one.
Once you're following your POIs, it's easy to know who is a scammer.
Imagine telling someone that you'd rather learn about a person through some thing like an AI than talk to the person directly yourself.
That is what saying "no sir" to nostr is like. These are just messages that have been signed and the source of the information can be whatever we want.
Could be this relay, that relay, or just a web server. š
The self proclaimed #Nostr CEO nostr:nprofile1qqsvrlrhw86l5sv06wkyjgs6rrcekskvk7nx8k50qn9m7mqgeqxjpvgpzdmhxue69uhhqatjwpkx2urpvuhx2ue0tc48yt insists is is pronounced: no star.
I call it noss-ter like you. Meh.
Ahhhh, more direct. I hope this catches on. I saw this flow in the readme a while back but no one really implemented it.
Then I found out Amber implemented nsec bunker and was blown away š .
Now if this becomes a standard, maybe signing apps can finally become "normal". It should go beyond Nostr though... a protocol to permit an app to sign ANYTHING for ANY OTHER APP OR SITE.
Nostr has no leaders. It will become a threat to those who would throw enough spam to not just annoy users, but to handicap nostr.
I'm glad the spam was a fire alarm and not a real fire, but testing the limits of nostr is not like spilling red wine on a dress intentionally.
It may feel like that to some who came out of curiousity, but then they would also jump ship when a critical mass of people joined and caused any other issue you can think of. Now or later... at least they get the experience of seeing nostr still alive a few months or years later and will give it more respect next time.
A dress is personal. It is designed to look nice and its "flaws" of being delicate is well known.
Nostr is more like an army tank. If 1mm thick steel is not enough, or if it is way less effective than assumed even, it's better to know now than later.
