I think considering binance is a profitable, out of jurisdiction shadow bank mainly capitalized in btc, there is a decent possibility of a 3rd scenario they dont get taken down or captured, and the decreasing clout of dollar hegemony is exposed by the SEC taking their shot and missing.

I had somethingvsomilar happen. Looking fwd to mempool accelerator helping these weird situations where cpfp and rbf dont jive perfectly with getting a xaction unstuck. Hopefully its not super expensive to use like existing accelerator options with mining pools.
To clarify, gov. wouod rather slide the change in over longer period of time to normalize the transition. But they will forced to act quicker due to crisis after crisis in sovereign debts.
