yeap, totally!

having kids really changes perspective on things 👍

I think what scares people is that they won't live to see the future they're working for.

I don't think the intent is to completely step away from Bitcoin content?

When it comes to talking about Bitcoin, there are different contexts. I love reading about how a parent is incorporating Bitcoin into their kid's lives or if a farmer has their first Bitcoin customer at their local market. Those are great Bitcoin stories.

The Bitcoin content that sucks are people who are talking about the really useless stuff like dips, ath, the price, how much they stacked, how much they regret not stacking, etc etc. lame, boring, same-y stories that have happened and will continue to happen for the rest of time.

ooo, storytime~

afaik, that hashtag was originally used for talking about growing stuff, like gardening and homesteading. It was started by a podcaster but I can't remember the name right now.

then it became a general hashtag for growing nostr as in branching out to non-bitcoin content. This made it pretty popular and with all popular hashtags, it got co-opted by bots and used so widely it isn't useful anymore.

if you have a sturdy table, try Australian push ups.

they're like push ups, but upside down.

I haven't found much gaming content unfortunately.

I've been so into Helldivers recently but no one have liber-tea with 😢

Hey nostr:npub1clfjjuhrnr2dyrxknvdgg5v4dnq55t5svkk34r76rpwzqf5cjdas7rk28k, how about making some Little Hodler custom emoji packs so that we can react with them in Nostr?

how does this work if I'm using amethyst? 🤔

yeap, sounds like she is grounded and pragmatic. she probably could have started a little earlier, but likely she felt like she had other priorities to take care of before herself.

gotta try the shoes cuz maybe feet or shoes have changed and they are no longer comfortable.

also, she's probably trying to figure out how to minimize the pairs of shoes she's bringing by trying to match as many outfits as possible. same thing with jewelry.

maybe turn off the TV and offer to spend time with them doing the things they like. play board games, garden, walk the dog, cook with them, etc.

they might spewgurgitate whatever they saw on the TV, but just let that shit slide off your back like a duck in rain.

the cloaks you're thinking of are best made with a heavy wool cloth that is woven, then slightly felted for water resistent properties. heavy, but not too heavy as to make it difficult for it to drape nicely as it is being worn.

in modern times, a garment like this would be very expensive because of the fabric quality and quantity requirements, and also pretty impractical since we now sit on cars as opposed to on horses.

the modern alternatives to cloaks are cheaper, easier to wear, more effective. goretex, insulated jackets, rain proof shells, etc.
